Halo Book Lovers: Halo 2/3/4/5 Novelizations?

So, I’m a writer. I’ve written several books, all original stories, and one screenplay (for Alien 5) although I’ve yet to publish any of them. I’m all about fan-fiction, and one day I may attempt a Halo 2 novelization, but I figured I’d start here first (if I knew it would be a waste of time I’d absolutely focus on my original ideas). Would a Halo 2 novelization be interesting, or ruin the Halo 2 experience? It wouldn’t follow the games 100%, like the Flood, but definitely weave an original story around it. (This is only something I’ve thought of from time to time, I have no plans to begin work on any Microsoft-owned Halo material as of yet, primarily for that reason.)

I don’t really think they would be necessary. The only one I would care for is a Halo 4 novelization from the perspective of Jul 'Mdama. Loved to see how he handles Requiem being locked to him for about 5 years, getting in and knowing a Spartan was there with them, his encounter with the Didact and what he did for the 6 months on Requiem.
