Just need to vent a little about how I feel about the Halo series. I am a true, die-hard halo fan. I own literally every halo game in the series and even some of the books. I have spent hundreds of hours playing halo 2/3. Now for the first time, I am deeply saddened. Halo 4… Don’t get me wrong, it is a great game. I enjoy the story, game play and all. Unfortunately 343i has put an incredibly awful taste in my mouth. I feel betrayed and let down. Experience caps, level cap, emailing codes??? I hope I can convince myself to walk away from this great series, because I feel sick inside, literally sick inside by their recent actions. This is not the same company, not the same feel good game, it is now just another corporate fiend, out to take you.
experience cap > pretty sure there was one in Reach. I reached mine only one in my 50+ hours of playing. if you reach it daily, maybe you should do something else than gaming all day.
emailing codes > think of it as a vidmaster achievement. instead you just have to check your emails to get a code. big deal. and even if you live in europe and don’t get the email, does it physically block you from playing?
level cap > maybe you preferred the almost-impossible-to-reach-unless-you-boost ranks from Reach or the “lol we all 50 now” boosted ranks from H3?
