I am trying hard to gain as many opinions as possible regarding what parts of Halo we love and think are most important when it comes to balance, gameplay flow and skill gap in Halo. It is only 4 questions so wont take much time at all I am hoping that if we all fill this out and share it around, I will be able to use the data to create some awesome graphs to visualize some of what the Halo community at large believes. I think hope this data can help in the development of Halo Infinite
Everyone’s opinion counts and is really appreciated so please submit your response and ask some of your close friends to do so too. Thanks again

Cool idea! As a bit of feedback, if you do any future surveys, I would suggest adding a “neutral” selection. I’m pretty neutral on ground pound and spartan charge, but there was no neutral option so I decided I leaned closer to bad addition even though that’s not really my feelings towards them.

If you’re neutral about it then it’s a bad addition so you leaned towards the right choice. Since it really doesn’t add to gameplay there’s no point to it existing outside of custom game options. And in all honesty none of us would complain about everything in every halo game ever being a CG option or forgeable addition to a map.
When it comes down to it being neutral doesn’t make too much sense. People can say, “eh I’m neutral about sprint”, well then they don’t care whether it’s in or not so there’s no point in it being in the game since they weren’t missing it in previous iterations.
Anyways as for my grievance… question number four didn’t have enough options, I don’t like either of the choices but picked what I believe was the better of the two. Also if you’re going to try and get a taste of the communities wishes you should have really made a bigger survey overall, OP.
Hey OP when do you think you’ll be posting your findings? I’m going to send this to a few friends, but I’m really curious to see what the results yield.

I would say this isnt the best site for most halo fans to see it. Try the halo subreddit since most halo fans wouldnt come here unless they want to get banned when we already get enough of that on mcc. Also, will the millions who quit playing halo once it couldnt stop copying trends be counted as thinking every base mechanic addition being detrimental since they dont even partake on these forums because halo isnt the game they fell in love with anymore?

Well I don’t care much for spartan abilities, so that was pretty much all a negative response from me. Sort of wish there was a little more in depth such as aiming/shooting mechanics, vehicle vs dismounted, weapon variety and diversity, and other stuff. Right now it seems like asking Do we like Halo 5 spartan abilities? The short answer is no, but leave them out and never mention them again is also a wrong answer.
