The story follow a young ODST who was suffered PTSD (from pulling all-nighters trying to win the lone wolf mission jk) from reach and watching a Spartans (you know the guys who shrug off blown of torso and flip tanks like Masterchef flips pancakes) die by a single head shot wound (no really what happened to shields halo reach) and also hasn’t ever seen the flood nor didact, also I don’t wan’t to really use any characters such gunny - MC - shoot (master chef)

Chapter :1: the mission
I was 18 when reach was glassed and my mind was scared, but even now I still remember everything, every detail to the commercial that when wild like a meme right before they started to attack, I also remember my parents telling me I would have made a friend but my next store nabere Jorge died of a plague (WINK WINK) before I was born, even the color of that Spartans blood in. it was in New Alexandria I was about 18 I was in the emergency glassing shelter but I remember as the Spartans ran towards the shelter the way the Spartans body flopped as another one grabbed her sidearm and started to fire at the covenant wall the others also fired their guns, the thought of her being there one second then the next she was gohan terrified me to my core, but it was in that shelter that I learned one lessons I will never forget the lessons I learned when I ask that dark blue spartan with the commander helmet and the DMR by his side, as I walk over to him to pop the question “what will you do with your dead allie?” He looks at me with that intense glare that any Spartan would give of if they pay detect attention to you, but even before I spoke he answered my question “Spartans never die… they just go missing in action”. 7 years later after the events of what me and my Helljumper squad mate Eco call the “fifth halo saga” we were chosen to go back to reach and see if any of the glassing has messed with the forerunner artifacts under sword base. Me and my squad get ready to drop down on the glassed reach “Gentlemen quit your (strong word) and get set to drop” caption mathuse states in his superior commander voice but this time he seems annoyed but that’s probably because he just finished customizing his ODST armor and he can’t use it because we have to use some special glassed planet exploration gear but at least it’s a ODST variant sow it’s what we’re accustomed to, or maybe because we have to work with a Elite for unspecified reason. “What really sir? we really have to babysit a stupid god (strong word) Sangheili?!” Privet donald wines “what did I just say about wi…” the Elite walks in holding a big bag of drinks most of them are sodas but three are beer, he throws me and Eco one then hands the captain a beer then ask the caption something I could here “glad to know you know who your talking to and as for your question that’s a yes, the Elite nods then chucks a can at Donald perfect hiting his head which Adry and Eco laughs to and I try to hide my laughter but fail to, “ahh god (strong word) Elites” Donald complains “why do we even need you!?” “Hay!” I begin to defend “don’t be a -roud- Donald and beside the answer to your question is mummified I ONI black ink… "also that’s just karma” Ardy suggests. After some side comments about the mission I take a look at the can I got and am trying not to die of laughter because it’s grape flavored but what’s even more funny is the advertisement that has a picture of the arbiter giving a acwords thumbs up wall holding the drink wall saying “drink-heili the drink for true champions!” Looking at the the can made me think of everything that “happened” on reach sins there was that ad on the cans that was basically the same as this only it was a ODST on the front. We go in are drop pods and got set, as my pod locked I got a jolt of anxiety, fear, and overall the feeling you get when you fight right next to a Spartan, “feet first into hell boys!” Donald yells before dropping, then the caption repeats it and then me and Eco drop at the same time as we scream “FEET FIRST INTO HELL ODST’S!!!” one by one we all say it and drop and I guess the Sangheili said it as well or something like that. My drop rates and shakes before deploying the shoot but of course something goes wrong and I end up smashing thru a glassed pipeline and starts spinning out of control before slamming into the ground facing a slightly glassed mountain. I pop open my pod. I realize that that’s a damaged helmet and heavily damage Jackrabbit but thankfully still useable, thou whats a Jackrabbit doing on reach? But I question it instead I pick up the helmet and gaze at it, but wall my attached is held it makes me think until I realized whos helmet this is, this helmet belongs to the black one the one that caught her corps, that spartan’s corps. I’m snapped out of my trance by a randevu call by commander Mathuse. After finding a strange half-full gas can, I fill up (bow-chika-bow-wow) Jackrabbit had head out towards the call. As I drive and drive I can’t help but think about that ugly brownish, caramelish pus ball that looked and smelt like rotten flesh growing on the outside of the can and then those mandolin-like things that looked like arrows because of the end that had a red flesh looking thing. After what felt like a hour of pondering on the thought of that gas can I find the others all ready and huddled up next to a dead robot? No it was different “maybe it was a robot deployed and recalled during the fifth or fourth halo saga sins I never was deployed then” I thought to myself as I drove. As I got closer I realized that a radio signal was coming in from them it said “No! No! Get back Dustin GET BACK!” Then another voice cuts in “your race will pay for all it has done” a scratchy “high and Mighty” voice threatens. Right as it said I that a humongous robot that looks like the thing my team killed aperse and flips my ride, smashing throw the window I yelp in surprise but I don’t have much time to be afraid because I have just landed on the orange glowing blade of the enemy.
(Chapter :2: Dustin to Dust: Perspective change: Eco) not 5 hours on this -Yoink!- planet and I what as my best friend is reduced to ashes. My team is struck in with anger as we charged head-on with a array of bullies I’d say could give a halo ring a run for its money. We brutality massacre that warden with bullies and Granada’s and when we’re done I scream into the dead shell that is that warden. We spend hour’s grieving over loss of our rookie (see halo New Blood I don’t I kill my main character ODST in a bo… wait!) and then press on with our mission but not before I grab the only thing left of him which is a black leather Jacket with dark green fleece and a quarter glassed helmet that I’d never see him wear before. We press on into sword base that need major maintenance. We’re all silent until adry brakes it by saying “this place has seen better days” “ya it make Africa look good” we all simultaneously respond with a “WOW!!!” “That is super racist you fool” the Sangheili states out loud towards Donald “what I was referring to the glassed side of Africa you know the flooded side of Africa!” (I was going to “ONI black tape” (I only relized now that you cant highlight anything in the HALO WAY-POINT chat funchshin so I couldn’t ONI black tape it so ya sorry) the flooded Africa line but then I’d have to replace it with a “Donald is racist” joke and that ain’t good for) “soldiers! shut it. and that was really racist Donald but we’re almost to the objective and we must complete this for are rookie, (cookie) Dustin” the commander inspired us as we then rushed to the objective. we’ve come right next to humongous forerunner door to the ship and open it with no real effort but as we get further down the corridors of the ship I realize what we’re walking on, it smells and looks like…oh god, we’re screwed. Hours pass as we get deeper into the ship and closer to anything that isn’t the floor, flood, or bolted down. but that’s what I thought before we were running from Promethean soldier infected by the flood and a didact that has obtained a warden’s body, and before we had been betrayed by caption Malthus, and lost the Sangheili (not died just lost) “common Eco the dolphin just a little more and we will most likely be safe” Donald jokes “you know I never thought I’d die like this!” I say as I huff and puff because we’re out of breath “wow Eco you may just be the finest solder with the worst stamina ever” Donald exclaims “I did!” Adry jokes “really… you really know that we were going to be hunted down by forerunner solder flood forms and a humongous warden that the Didact is controlling” Donald complaints as always “you today because you know I wasn’t joking!” she angrily says but it doesn’t mean anything. We spend time preparing for when flood or the didact warden, but lucky for us the warden with nack for killing humans found us first but was we turned are guns to fight it something that resemble a black hole appears and then out of the thin air a another warden appears but something about these warden is different for instance the color of it is black and yellow with a silver fingers, but instead of trying to kill use the warden sucker punch is the didact right in the kisser yelling “SURPRISE MOTHER FUC…”, wall the other warden is dazed the black one picks me up like a titan from that anime Dustin was always going on about, “let me go you overgrown tin can!” I yell in anger and frustration but it didn’t listen instead he put something in the back of my head then it put me down and when back to fight the Didact, but as these two fight I realize the color is fading from the black one and it’s getting more and more slippery as it fights. All three of us watch as these two fight until I hear the voice of God in my head telling me to go fu… myself or at least that’s I thought until I realized it was him? or maybe it was.
(Chapter :3: A true library: Perspective change:Dustin) I feel like a feather waghtlise and calm but until a person resembling Voldemort because she has no nose and is really tall but she comes towards me and as she floats over I realize I’m in a white glowing room with hologram looking blue floor. “Greeting Dustin Graves I am the librarian and you are in the primordial, your now a AI” the librarian tells me but I don’t buy it because I don’t remember being a calculator as a baby and because she looks like Voldemort from the HALO-potter movies, “WHAT THE fU… sorry for my French but just what in general” “it is as I said your a AI and you have the capability to surpass the the power of the warden eternal” “ya but he was no mendicant bias which I have no clue who that is… how do I know that name?” I ask “that is because I am uploading the knowledge of the human forerunner war along with the forerunner flood war and other knowledge that is needed such as Master Chef achievement and the event of the “5th halo saga” as you would call it.” she implies “wait wait wait! This is a lot of stuff to process and frankly, I just want to get back and…” she cuts me off “ and save your friend from the flood?” “the wha… wait the FLOOD oh gods!.. can you do something like give me a body so I can fight help fight them?!” I say as I remember the flood. “No you must claim a body on your own and “fight the good fight” she suggest “right then…” I run towards the light and when I reach it I grab it with the tights’s grip ever.
(Chapter :4: Deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole we go…: Perspective change: Eco) I’m dazed because of the voice I here in my head witch is Dustin’s voice, he’s saying “ECO wake up hello…look this my be crazy but I’ll tell everyone once we get to end of the way-point on your HUD you too Adry and Donald “I…I don’t understand how” “god dang it Eco just run I don’t have any time to explain right now” I take a second to collect myself then I give the order to start running. We reach the way-point. “Ok Dustin… we want answers NOW” I demand “ k just a sec… and got it” the doors shut stopping anything from getting in and out “ k guess you want to know why I’m a costume forerunner AI. Right?” Dustin asks “AI what’s the I stand for?” “Arta-” I cut off Dustin “I know what the fu…ing stands for!” “Ya in Dustin’s case he A must stand for-” Dustin cuts off Donald “shut up and let me tell you!” Dustin yells as a dark green glow emerges from the light he gives off. (Dustin fills them in) “oh ya also there a ONI hit on you Adry so be careful” “what?” She replies “don’t get the wrong idea it, I think it’s a test, a very very hard test. but they are Spartans so you probably will die.” “what!” She reacts looking more annoyed than angry “oh yes btw there are some forerunner combat skin in the armory but that zone has the just happens to have the merc I talked about around there so ya… also they have a intense form of logic plagued so that’s another thing. Ya just don’t go around th-“ she cuts Dustin off “screw it i’m going” “what! no your not” I yell “what are you my new dad?!” She sarcastic asks wall Donald muter “I could be your daddy”. after what must sounds like a teenage daughter father argument to Donald and Dustin, Adry storms off after Dustin opened the door for her. “ wait! we can watch her throw the monitor” Dustin points out to which I agree to. After watching he fail to navigate the ship Dustin set a marker for her to follow.
(chapter :5: The mystery best of the best Perspective change: Adry) as I run down the halls of this ship I ponder on the thought of how I got myself into all this, when I found the combat skin armory. quickly entered, but when I enter the two Spartans Dustin told me about we there. I walked a little closer and then the doors shut behind me watch also made them notice me. “There doomed!” I thought but I don’t know if I can keep up with the two of them together. One of the spartans is in the Anubis armor and the other is in the FOTUS armor but the helmet is encased inside the skull of a sangheili and the skill has a hole in it for the horn, it’s going to be tuff but I’m no pushover until the one with the FOTUS armor pulls out a energy dagger which will mix thing up abit, the FOTUS one comes at me with the dagger but I dodge it and kick his hand up which throw him off balance, but the other one stop the FOTUS spartan and instead get on his mic “AJ, don’t attack her yet!, besides it will be to easy a fight if we kill her when she’s wearing that bolky ODST armor “what?!” me and AJ (the FOTUS spartan) ask outlode “let her get in the level 12 combat skin.” “that stupid why don’t we just kill her no-” I sucker punch AJ in his try-hard FOTUS face and then jump back to dodge the other once attack. “Alright lass we tried to give you the upper hand-” “so don’t beg for mercy? Is that you next line!”. Like a fight scene out of Red vs Blue I’m dodging attacks and dishing out my own pain but I don’t think I’m really hurting my enemy. We’ve been fighting for three minutes now and with each hit I feel like the next punch will crack their skull but it doesn’t, but then I take a nasty blow in my kidney but wall I’m staggered AJ tries to stab my stomach with his energy dagger but I doge and wall he was off balance I maneuver his energy dagger into his partner’s chest but before he pulls his blade out the point were the armor plates don’t block the the under armor I take out my tactical Tomahawk (like the once from RVB in that one episode that the Insurrectionist leader cared) and server off his energy dagger arme then back but before I could get away my was almost sliced in two like a watermelon luckily it only ruined my helmet but by what I wandered, I look up and see the damage was done by a katana? “Wait? What! Are you for real?!” “old spartan habits die hard you peace of trash!” the Anubis armored one yelled, J…Ja…Jeffrey…help m…e ple…a…se!” AJ pleads “alright then ‘old friend’” Jeffry (the Anubis armored one) said before picking him up and his arm with the dagger still active “but you need to rest now” he whispers wall stabbing AJ with his own arm, “that all kinds of screwed up dude and frankly I now want to throw up… but thanks for helping me get better” I state with a fears fire in my veins that are itching to fight. I charge him but instead of my natural right hook I drop kick him then I kick in his shins but after that, he gets in a good slice to my wrist and then Sparta kicks me back witch throws me against the door leaving a huge dent in it. “Ok how am I going to do this… oh OOOOOOOHHHHHH Ok ya I can get behind that!” I think out loud, I rush for the energy dagger and get it wall dogging his katana, I get it and put it on my damaged wrist. I front flip kick him then I get him good with three quick to the grind, stomach, and his head which leaves him dazed and open, I take the opportunity to strike witch my energy dagger but he’s too fast and he blocks my strick and parries it with make me tumble and accidentally cut off the horn of AJ dead FOTUS corps, wall I’m on my back Jeffrey puts his foot on my chest and gets ready to stab me in the head, “any last word? Doll?” “yes actually, Destiny better (personally I like them both destiny and halo, there two different game and it stupid to compare them in a contest) and FOTUS armour head pecas is sharper than it looks” “BEGONE -Yoink!-” he yells as he thrusts to stab me I roll to the left, pick up the FOTUS horn and I get up, once I got up It was over because I twarde and stabbed Jeffrey right in the place where his right eye would be in his viser shattering the glass making and a hole, then I quickly take it out and get’em him in the neck, as blood gushes from the hole in his helmet and neck he falls back gurgling and choking on his own failure he, “pick a god and pray…” I quote be for stomping on the horn in his neck, driving it deeper in thru, and killing him instantly. “That’s why they call US the best of the best!” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrjUbB2Y9lM 0:19 in that video) I mock and follow up that burn with a spit to there dead corpse.
(Chapter :6: a plan only he would make: Perspective change: Eco) “WOW! That’s it that’s all I can say is wow” Donald cry out loud in surprise that Adry didn’t die, “I know… but right now we have more…’pressing matters’. In which I mean the flood have formed a proto gravemind or a really gravemind that’s on the verge of evolving into a big ol’ tapeworm or worse. But luckily this ship was a main didact manufacturing ship which means it’s can make and deploy didact knights, soldiers, prowlers, etc. But I need them to fend off the flood that’s on our doorstep. In retrospect, it’s going to be a big fight, but unfortunately I not being a physical entity in this world, I.E I’m a big ol’ line of code means fighting is going to be a issue for me, but luckily I can make like all the kids play that actually accurate and highly fun R.T.S game, halo wars, and have a little halo war myself.” Dustin explains (fun fact halo wars one was my first halo game. But now whenever I go to play it on my Xbox 360 it sounds like Dio Brando going WWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYY) “what?!” Donald questions “ugg!.. You uncolcher masses… I mean that I am going to be able to control a bunch of didact robots from this control room and you will be storming the flood inside the ‘prize room’ witch is really just the war room that had legendary forerunners inside it at the time of the rings firing” Dustin simplified “wait dustin I’m confused I thought-” I cut off by Adry coming into the room “speaking of -Yoink!-” donald side comments “don’t worry dustin I can hear you from outside“ she contributes as she grins in that ‘trying to hold back the urge to make donald eat those words’ voice “oh thank god”. “Any way Dustin I thought we were trying to storm the gravemind, not the ‘trophy room’ ” I ask Aegean “well my sweet naive Eco we don’t have the firepower we once had especially sens you guys minus Ardy have thoughts suits” Dustin answers. But as we all plan for the front word assault the doors suddenly open and there stands the Sangheili that we had thought had died was alive! And now bowing to Adry? “What?” I question “OH ya I thought this would happen, ya Adry you see this Elite/Sangheili is an ex Covenant zealot and Spec-ops but old habits die hard and all that stuff, so that’s why he bowing to you Adry because he thinks your a forerunner” Dustin explains “oh yay the split chins back” Donald cheerfully states before pulling a deck of cards out to fondle. But his comment snaps out of his “Elite zealot thing” after we catch up the Sangheili who’s name is actually Kiro ‘vekai. From my point of view it looks like Adry is just able to see what Donald is doing with those cards he pulled out witch catches her attention pretty fast “yo Donald when did you learn to do that, like that some deception stuff from that tv show deception” Adry asked in shock of his abilities “Wait no one realized I could do this before? Because I always would do this” Donald replies also in shock “K is everyone ready to move out coz I’m ready to move plus I already got a platoon of ten forerunner soldiers bots and three knights” “I’m ready here!” I reply “same for us” Donald replies for Adry and himself “the mediocre journey awaits!” Kiro jokes but is indeed ready as he does that iconic Sangheili battle cry.
(Chapter 7: seage the kingdom of flesh Perspective change: Dustin) as we march thru the ship I sit on top of eco the dolphins helmet detailing and waving my legs around like I’m on a swing until we reach a huge mutant zombie tapeworm fart cloud or a Nightmare Mist (wink wink thx for reading) which is just a very thick cloud of flood spores “stop! Knight move forwards and limit anti-flood spore percussion” I command “wait knight can do that?” Adry asks “these once can” I reply we all walk thru the blight of the flood. “Are we close?” Eco asked to which I reply “yes and no because of there only lise flood between us and some damn good loot!” I admit “Dame good loot? What is this some destiny raid” Eco joked (btw as a solo player (not by choice) in destiny I’m pissed off that destiny 2’s eater of @ss raid REQUIRES YOU TO HAVE FRIENDS) “yup totally, hay Eco fu… yourself, with your self, and yourself.” “wat?” “exactly” me and eco joke around “guys I’m done ‘reappearing da funk’ out of my knife wall you two have a -Yoink!- contest so can we just go and get this darn fine loot that Dustin is going on about” he objects as he makes his knife disappear and reappear in some really tricky way that irritates me because I can’t seem to see how he does it. “Hang on the knights almost have a steady bubble of clean air going” I object. We wait three more minutes before there done and we can head deeper into the ship. We walk and walk before finally reaching a heavily flooded area that could give High charity a run for its money, but as we stand there I realize that Ecos motion tracker is saying that were are surrounded, but this isn’t right I mean the flood are only this coordinated it there’s a… no it’s not done yet it can’t be done yet or maybe it is done and it has been made but thankfully the ODST variant S.G.P.E.G has an air tank that covers most of our backs and Adrys combat skin was design for flood fighting so it must be good…Right? As flood spores and combat forms of jackals, Sangheili and wait are skirmishers? Wow… although what scares me the most is the flood forms of the soldiers, “ahhhh sh#t!” Kiro comments in that broken Sanghel-esh. Almost instantly eco brakes the surrounding forces and find cover but just messes up the flood infected - headcrab - squid forms that are coming for his booty. We all fight for hours before I realize were the there flood combat forms are all running which if I’m right is the engine room and I’m guessing that one of… those is in the engine room. “Enuff of this it’s time to finish the fight! storm the intelligence room so we can get the hell out of here alri-…” I’m cut off by what I’ve feared a gravemind tentacle which proves my theory of there being a fully formed or just formed gravemind hear on reach but how long was it hear for I mean the covenant didn’t glass thing just to glass thing right and if they know about all the forerunner artifacts on this rock then why would they glasses reach unleash it was the african floodgate scenario, as I pondered this instead of helping out my team a makeshift flood form hunter that use the gravemind tendrils as Lekgolo replacements smacking eco away he dislocated his arm his arm surprisingly easily and flies right into Adry “ahh- damn that stings… hay Adry can you help me out here?” he ask’s “k just don’t don’t scream” she joke’s and helps snape his arm back into place “(concerning and weird pain noises)” hums Eco. suddenly the war room opens up and we all take are chains and Leggett into the room.
