Halo Assassination advice

Hi halo waypoint, i have done some research on YouTube but came up with little strong info. if any highly skilled halo players could tell me how to be proficient and skilled myself, could you please tell me your best assassination you remember the most with pride and please be detailed in the reply box, i would be happy to learn from the best

Thanks

Not completely sure what you’re asking, but most if not all pro players and high level players do not use assassinations at all. They leave you vulnerable for way too long to be viable when you can just back smack them and kill them instantly.

You are asking for your most awsome assassination right?
Mine would be every time I take out an sniper.

My favorite, an Assassination with the bomb, AKA a Ballsassination. I can’t put my tactics into words, other than to say that I patiently waited for the right opportunity to strike:

Here is an Assassination + Hat Trick. With the Assassination you can see me switching between crouching and walking up behind a player that has a Sniper as I try to guess when the player is scoped in and therefore can’t see their radar:

Just a beautiful day the Assassination played out as my Spartan tosses the enemy down into the put of lava. I followed as I was too enamored with the beauty to care about winning against the player who started shooting at me after the Assassination:

Flagsassination against enemy carrier ON THE SCORE SPOT, while the enemy carrier thinks they are returning their flag, lol. I whiffed the first melee, but it’s the best spot for a Flagsassination ever:

Almost a triple with only Assassinations, but the last one only registered as a Beat Down/Backsmack. I knew the enemies were coming from that direction, so I was camping for just a few seconds, waiting for them. I love how my teammate’s X - FIRE tag landed on my Magnum, as if the universe was telling me, “Don’t shoot, be ninja.”:

FFA bait and wait:

Always looking for an opportunity to Assassinate:

Sneaky, sneaky ; )

I call this one “Brutality”:

My favorite is SuperNova…This

what i am asking for exactly is advice and tactic ideas on how to assassinate without getting killed just after or failing it and geeting beaten down. and i understand that many pro halo players don’t always do this, i just would like advice on how to become better at it via video or words

how did you take them out?

I think I can spare some tips:

  • STAY QUIET. If you’re near someone, crouch and slowly approach them from behind. Watch your surroundings, and don’t get into their field of view. - If you’re waiting for someone, hide your character’s body as much as possible. Do not let your weapons stick out from a corner as some are very large and can give yourself away. - Pay close attention to your radar. If there’s a whole bunch of players coming through your area, go for the last guy in line. You’ll attract less attention. - Try to attack someone from an unexpected angle. Dropping from above is particularly effective. - The Energy Bayonet, Knight Blade, and Scale of Soirapt (Tier-3 Brute Plasma Rifle) have extended melee lunge range. Use them to close in on someone more easily. - Use assassinations that are less flashy. Terminal Velocity and Supernova are very cool, but are easily spotted from a distance and are very noisy. - If your target is caught scoped in with their weapon, they’re an easy target.

With an assassination?
I mostly use lawndart as my preffered assassination.

I think my funnest was in Reach when I was standing in one spot pretending to shoot someone and I ended up getting two ninja assassinations in a row by doing that.

Should work now… for some reason the link addy for the vid changed…

I usually don’t assassinate players because they leave me too vulnerable for others to kill me. When there’s a chance, a player must be alone, or the team will kill you before you can assassinate anyone.

To preform a assassination you need to be behind a enemy (it does not matter if your crouching) and hold your melee button. easy to get them on AFK people

it’s petty but it works, I have worked myself up in assassinations many tiems. One thing people forget about when they play arena, WZ assault and various multiplayer game types is that assassinations are a thing, I train and test my skills in assassination arena’s such as Mango and is were I go to chill.

The trick with getting Beat Down of Assassinations for a less skilled player is to hide behind corners and use the motion tracker to detect innocent players running past you. It’s also preferable to crouch a lot as it will make your movements invisible to the motion tracker.

Back in Halo 4 I remember there was this guy that kept camping the over shield spawn and he took the same path in and out every time. I sat in camo on the top side of the gravity lift and waited for him to come up as he always did. Guy flies up starts running, I grab him a put a pointy stick in his neck. Over shield wasn’t good enough lmao.
