What if there was a Halo game that was a MMO but not as a Spartan. It could be much like that game in development “Star Citizen”. You as a species of the galaxy could dive deeper into the lore and go to places in your ship or join the UNSC or other groups in the Galaxy. Traveling in your very own UNSC friget with a crew of friends. Maybe even the Infinity. This could have many possibilities for the story. We could go to glassed planets or discover Forerunner artifacts for ONI. I personally wouldn’t mind going into a giant space battle piloting the Infinity and taking down a covenant super carrier. What do you guys think?
I’m pretty sure that ensemble studios was making this but Microsoft canceled it I dunno why I thought it was gonna be awesome but no MS had to cancel it, stupid MS
I’d drop every dime I have one a Halo MMO. That would be fantastic. Explore the whole Halo universe. Just play just a civilian. Possibly even play as Benjamin Jerome from Hunt the truth. Going planet to planet hunting information. Same time taking down stray covenant or rebel forces who are in your way. And seeing everything from a civilians point of view.

Yes exploring the Halo universe in a mmo style would be so cool

You could be a human than rank up to Odst and that to a spartan…
Or you could be an elite or brut and rank up your character there too. Or a grunt

So as an elite up to ultra or even arbiter
Not that I’m disagreeing, but let’s not forget what makes Halo fun to begin with. Playing as a super soldier, being awed by Marines, and fighting. While I’m not disagreeing with you all, I believe playing as a mere civilian would take most of the fun out of Halo.
