Halo Armor

So I had an idea I posted a wile back the idea was you would find the armor pieces in campaign you could do this on the easiest difficulty setting or the hardest difficulty setting some people did not like this idea so I am reposting the idea with a change you would still find the armor pieces in campaign on the easiest or hardest difficulty setting however certain things for the armor would be unlock through achievement there would be armor variants, retextures, and weapon skins for the player what do you all think of this idea oh and also the emblems in the game should all be unlocked from the start available for everyone to use you didn’t need to unlock them in Halo 2 or Halo 3 I think it was stupid that you had to unlock them in Halo 4 and Halo 5

If they did the same system as reach but a more upgraded version of that it would be sweet. Having some things unlocked through achievements would be cool too. But please to god I hope it’s not like halo 5 they were all ugly and I hated the fact it was a whole suit and a helmet.

would also be cool if they added elites into the multiplayer as well with armour pieces and what not.

Periods are your friend OP.

To answer your question, I like the idea of using campaign as a means to gain armor unlocks. I just don’t like the idea of hunting for them in the game like they’re Easter Eggs. Not to mention that would lead to a lot of random scattered armor parts all over every level. You couldn’t walk behind a boulder without stumbling upon a shoulder pauldron by complete accident.

So I’m in favor of promoting campaign play by making the campaign part of the progression system, but I don’t like the idea of finding the parts in the campaign.

I feel that only campaign related armors should be able to be unlocked in the campaign.
Other unrelated armors should be unlocked via a credit system like Reach.
As far as emblems go, I don’t really care that much except that the community should have what is best for them, and what they think is best for the game.

I think they should do that system again like in 3 and reach possibly also connect them to the skulls.

Actually, finding battered armor of previously fallen Spartans would be cool. Maybe like 5 or so pieces in total as a rare reward for exploration. Oh and can skulls make a return too?

Overall, I’m pulling for a return to a cR system as in Reach. If there are a few sets locked behind achievements, that is also fine.

If anything is to be found in the campaign, I suggest that they be only the sets associated with Chief. Assuming that the Mk V and VI will be usable, as well as potentially the Mk IV and the MkVI as seen in Halo 4-5, these are the sets I would hide in the campaign. That keeps the theme of Infinite’s campaign being about Chief intact.
