No armor has every transferred from one Halo game to another - so I don’t think this will start with Infinite.
I don’t think this is something that should outright be ruled out. Gears 5 was the first Gears game to have some armor from a prior game (Gears 4) carry over. It’s not crazy to think 343i might have legacy armor that will automatically unlock in Infinite for those who earned it in H5.
I’d be a little disappointed if armor carried over. I’m someone who really likes grinding for things. So having stuff unlocked from the start would probably take away from the grind a bit. Also, it’s more fun to unlock things rather than have them handed to you.

that would be cool, but not very likely. many people, myself included, already have all halo 5 armors unlocked, and that would be a lot of armors to transfer. I would say, if they were to transfer armors that the transfer the armor that the players are wearing. further more, halo Infinite has a very different art direction from halo 5, and halo 5 armors weren’t designed to be work with the next game. we don’t even know which armors will be in Infinite.
I highly doubt it.
