First off, Jeff Steitzer does an amazing job in infinite. However for BTB are the medals of announcer offline? or is it working for any of you guys? In more general case will there be audio announcements for medals like “Revenge” or “Killjoy” like previous titles?
i havent been getting any audio for that but i know he worked on the voice lines. If they don’t have them it will be a sad day
It’s to make BtB more like Warzone, having the new commander replace Jeff. Stupid idea imo, they better bring back Jeff for BtB as well
They really need to bring him back. I got a overkill today and all she said was something along the lines of “keep chaining them together spartan” in a very unenthusiastic way. It was a very boring response to something exciting to me. It’s nothing like hearing Jeff at each killchain point.

Agreed. You cant replace BTB with this warzone lite mode and replace jeff’s voice in it with this no name spartan. At least give us a choice in the matter. The new announcer voice dialogue for BTB has already become repetitive and tiresome. the good thing about Jeff’s lines is that they are short, repeatable and just neutral. They arent trying to be clever or themed around something specific and thats what gives Jeff infinite replayability with his lines.
If you are going to go this far to transform BTB give us a classic 8v8 version on the side with Jeff doing normal call outs, no ordnance or random vehicle fly ins. Just good ol’ btb that every other halo game had please. Palmer got old extremely fast in warzone, and this announcer is already getting on peoples nerves. It shouldnt bee too hard to at least give us a choice of our multiplayer announcer in modes where 343 wants to add new voices that way we can choose Jeff if we wish.
Yes it’s really sad. I hope his voice come back in BTB. I was sitting in front of my screen and saying "Doublekill, “Triplekill” like a idiot, main thing anybody says that lines xD

Yes the replacement of his voice was not remotly cool like Jeff. I get they want to promote the new character, but at least, give us the option to choose who’s talking. JS Voice is just too iconic
