I installed Halo CE Anniversary last night, and it played fine. This morning, it seems to be playing off the disc even though I installed it. I cleared the cache from both the HDD and internal memory, and even reinstalled the game, but it still loads off the disc. Any suggestions??
I’m wondering the same thing. I’m wanting to fix it to see if it will fix the audio popping that I’m experiencing.
It is the new disc format we were updated to a few months back. It will spin inside the Xbox for a few minutes and then it should stop.

It still requires the game disc to load the game, It just doesnt use it as much as it would without the install.
I find the same happens with the Gears Of War series.

This. It will spin for a while (depending on the game, how long).
