Halo anniversary terminal backgrounds?

Every time you unlock a terminal on Halo Waypoint, it says you unlocked a background from that terminal. What is it used for (is it a pc background?) and where can I find it?

you can use it on your windows phone if you have one, only in waypoint though

Tutorial:

  1. Go to Halo Waypoint (site, not the app) home page.
  2. Go to where your Gamertag, Emblem and Rank is.
  3. Below Carrer Overview you see Account Settings. Click on it.
  4. Select a background.
  5. ???
  6. PROFIT!

go on halowaypoint for pc, press service record and you will see settings. oh and if you drag the service record bar to the right all the way, there is an a cool easter egg. the demon root dash board.

Its called account settings. when u first go into waypoint, you see your GT and your rank. click it and on the left ois the settings. if you drag it to the right there is the easter egg.

Thanks! I had no idea what to do. For a moment, I thought they were a background for Waypoint on the 360…

To answer your question, I don’t think this feature is available on Halo Waypoint anymore.

I can confirm this. The option to change backgrounds was removed sometime after Halo 4 release. Cause it was deemed unseen and pretty much useless. Only people who saw it were those who looked into stats deeply and settings.

I can really just class this like Nameplates in Halo Reach impossible to get or change now. Cause if you did it then it still appears on your Halo Reach Stats on the Halo Waypoint App on Xbox 360 and Mobile devices. Aka stuff that may be seen as useless now with the fact Halo Channel comes out.

But the background appears nowhere else(not on the Halo Waypoint Website stats). So I can assume with the release of Halo Channel there will be no proof these existed.

So really dont worry about it. You didnt miss out on anything that special.
