Halo Anniversary slight annoyance

Hi,

Does anyone else find the inclusion of the original Halo CE “stutter” annoying? I understand this was a deliberate choice to add code to Halo CEA to better replicate the origninal Halo hame play experience.

Essentially the Halo CE would pause/stutter every now and then, I assume this was due to processing and/or loading data. I found it annoying and distracting in the original game and to see the same in Halo CEA (as I mentioned I understand this was a deliberate choice to add code to replicate this behaviour).

Personnally I find it annoying that this “feature” of the original game has been ported to HAlo CEA.

Other than that I think that CEA is excellent and if 343 would patch the game to remove this “feature” I would have no complaints at all

Cheers.

What do you mean? The load-zone pauses?

The only thing that annoys me about the game are the holes in the wraith and scorpion, honestly I would have thought they’d at least cover them.

I really don’t think 343 added code just to emulate load stutter. It happens in Reach fairly regularly, and HCEA is running two graphics at the same time. I think the load stutter is genuine, and it doesn’t bother me at all.

My only dislike in terms of Menu wise on Combat Evolved would be how sensitive the cursor would be. Pressing the Joystick down once would translate to going down the options twice. I find that I have to resort to using the D-Pad most of the time to prevent accidental mis-clicks such as choosing options instead of Halo: Reach Anniversary Multiplayer.

It is a tad annoyance but nothing that deters me from the enjoyment.

I only hate the spawn zones in certain levels, such as the hallways on Two Betrayals. I hate spawning over and over again, facing different directions over and over again… (Mainly in Co-op)
