Halo Anniversary should have already been released.

It’s releasing around the same time as mw3. I kinda feel like a traitor, but I’m getting mw3.

No… the game is not gold yet and it’s releasing exactly 10 years after CE was released, day for day.

I bet you they’re done with the game.

I wish I had it already but I will enjoy it when it arrives. I am looking forward to the TU until H:CEA arrives.

MW is not a substitute for Halo, it’s just another game.

I’m getting CEA Skyrim MW3 and I have GoW3 already.

already pre ordered so i dont care because i know i will be getting an awsome game.

Wait… why should it have been out before MW3?

If you are chosing MW3 because you would have money for only one game, releasing Anniversary before wouldn’t make any difference at all.

You’re just getting MW3 rather than Anniversary because you like it most, not because they both come out in the same month and you only can buy one, which I highly doubt since you are stating you would have bought Anniversary if it had come out before…

tl;dr: One unit less won’t make any difference, buy the game you prefer, but keep in mind there was no point on doing this thread…

There’s nothing to stop anyone buying MW3 and Halo CEA, in fact they will probably both be really good so buying both should be encouraged.

They aren’t. If they were, there would have been an announcement.

More on topic, why does it matter if Halo Anniversary comes out before MW3? How exactly does that affect things?

get Battlefield 2 instead of MW3

Well, that explains everyone else… but which one do you find more fun? it all comes down to that. (Its the same as: if everyone else jumped off a bridge, would you?)

Anyways, I like the current release date, Its exactly 1 year after Halo CE came out

Haha, and you think Activision is not??? That is just being ignorant. Any given game is completed about two months before it’s release date.

No, Halo: Anniversary isn’t even done. Add on to the fact that it’s supposed to be for Halo’s 10th anniversary, which isn’t here yet.

What bugs me is how stubborn Ubisoft is being with Assassin’s Creed. They know that it’s the 10th anniversary of Halo, yet they’re going to hurt their own sales by sticking it on the same date.

It may actually boost their sales, if a bunch of people are going to be buying games on the 15th, why wouldn’t you put your game in as well?

Because normal people don’t have hundreds of dollars to blow on games that release in the same week, much less the same day. It severely hurts your online population too.

Alright, I believe that is reasonable,

To conclude this thread, Halo CEA is not yet finished, the Halo CE was released on Nov. 15, 2001, CEA will be released exactly 10 years after the original.

I’m pretty sure I didn’t say anything about when modern warfare was done. Point is, they’re releasing at the same time, I’ve played halo ce and halo reach. none of my friends are going to get it because modern warfare 3 is coming out.

CE:A is being released on the 15th, for it is the tenth anniversary of when the original Halo was released. They did this on purpose, not to compete with MW3. If anything, Activision chose to give MW3 the same release date.

So you have to chose what game you get? Why don’t you just get both? Either way, if you don’t pick up CE:A (which is only $40, by the way), it’s not like we’re losing a valuable community member.
