I am a huge Halo fan and I am thinking of some cool Halo CE editions.

Heroic Edition:

-Exclusive Flood infected elite multiplayer skin
-Captain Keyes badge
-Captain Keyes log

Legendary Edition

-Model of the Pillar of Autum
-All features of Heroic edition
-Invite to Halo 4 Beta (who knows ;D)

What do you guys think?

I have a feeling the Halo: CE Anniversary will have the Halo 4 beta regardless of the version you purchase.

I’d like a statue of the Pillar of Autumn, but I wonder if they could randomize statues in the Legendary edition. Pillar of Autumn, MC, or Cortana. That would be pretty awesome.

Personally, I’m getting tired of hundred-something dollar editions of games that deliver marginal amounts of extra content.

Can’t I just go out and pick up a copy of a game, and get the same experience as everyone else? No “special” members crap with flaming helmets, no pre-order store bonuses, no convolution? Just taking the plastic-wrap off of my green box revealing a disc and a manual, maybe some promotional stuff, a Live trial, ect. That’s what I like.

I hope that the statues, cat-helmets, RC cars, poker-boxes and the like are just a fad.

I would rather them make a very low number of the one.

But, that is cool.

You can Get Cortana and Chief, but you can’t get the Autumn.

I’m just curious if the coming Halo Anniversary game will be coming with a Heroic\Legendary bundle or a Collectors edition. I really hope it does because I love to collect limited edition Halo stuff. And this would be a perfect time to have a old timey Chief & Cortana statue along with some awesome other stuff.

I just need us to get a version with a Steelbook case. Lol… I have a serious problem obsessing over those I’m pretty sure…

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Well then I guess it’s entirely possible for this to have a special edition.

I already wrote up a Legendary Edition for Halo: CE remake from bungie.net. Here it be:

I want:

  1. Stuffed Sage doll. Must have beard. (joke fyi, but would be cool)
  2. A memorial to Halo video
  3. Free map pack code for Reach (I do have all the map packs fyi)
  4. Metal case
  5. Master Chief Mark V helmet OR the original assult rifle OR a Pillar of Autumn statue
  6. Halo: CE poster that has the CE logo and Happy 10th Anniversary on it
  7. A mini Halo ring (you could hang it from your roof)
  8. Halo 1 gigabyte USB drive (or higher gigabyte capacity)
    This in my opinion is the ultimate Halo pack.

343, please look this over and take this all into consideration. Maybe you could use some of these ideas for a Halo: CE remake Legendary Editon and/or Halo 4 Legendary Edition. People would buy it, I would.

Or you could have your own engraved write their in the store with your name and a number you decide, I doubt it though.

So for the collectors out there or any of those attending Halofest do you think there is the possibility for a Collectors Edition of Halo CE Anniversary? Considering the price point fo $40 I would certainly pay $50 or $60 dollars for a collectors edition in a hardcase that included some of the original making of videos and maybe a commentary running concurrent with the campaign. Every other halo released with the exception of Halo CE (unless you count the GOTY edition) had a collectors edition. I think it would be quite a fitting conclusion to the Masterpiece that is Halo CE. I’ll be at Halofest with my launch day 11/15/2001 Halo CE getting Frankie’s autograph…(Crosses Fingers…although i know he wasn’t involved intil H2, he is still the King of Halo as it stands) Thoughts?

Walmart had those for the Halo 3 release.

I wouldn’t mind one special edition that’s not too much more expensive than the standard retail version, but not the huge and expensive increments like Legendary. I’m not sure if I’d be able to afford it after Halo: Reach. :\
