Halo Anniversary: Forge

Breakneck=Forge city w/ lots of building interiors (Speculation)
Ridgeline=Forge pieces in (Confirmed)

Headlong is a possible Forge City, but don’t expect it to be on the same scale as Forge World. I’m thinking the door is deletable and reveals a little area that then leads to the bridge in the background which by the look of the trailer is actual playable space. It’s more likely a new Invasion map rather than a Forge City, but all of this is speculation.

Timberland probably won’t have any Forging abilites except if the trees and rocks were deleteable leaving a blank grassy canvas to work with like a larger Quarry. How else would they be able to make the classic version of the map with all of that extra tree cover they’ve added.

Hang 'Em High is the big one though. There has to be a reason why it is going to be the final one announced despite the fact that we’ve known it exists since the reveal trailer. The only reason I see that is b/c it’s got something special about it like maybe an entire forge palette to work with. It’s literally a perfect space to forge in b/c it’s just an empty box filled with structure very similar to the forge pieces we already have in FW.

I’m hoping for a human forge palette on Headlong, especially some human roads. I’d love to make a Headlong race map with actual road pieces.

Hang em High is the new foundry I think. It could have the biggest forge palette ever, bigger than forge worlds even. Now do I expect that,no. What I expect is at least forge worlds palette, yes I do. I think that Hang 'em High should have all of the CEA maps palettes plus it’s own taste. That’s my opinion.

A new foundry? Meh.

OT: Well i wouldnt exactly want a Forge City because you would be stuck making himan eviorments. Theres not much you can do if you make things with human peices, it would need to look believeable as a Human map.

It is probably true. If you watch one of the videos on it, some scenery in the background looks too detailed to just be scenery like the near by bridge and buildings.

Hang 'Em High is the last map to be officially revealed and since 343 has been going in-depth on their maps in the bulletins lately then this week’s is likely going to officially reveal Hang 'Em High unless they’re saving that for next week b/c the beta hoppers are the big news this week.

My thoughts exactly! We will be enlightened as to the news on Hang 'em High (hopefully) this Wednesday and all will be revealed. Cautiously excited :slight_smile:
