This is a direct quote from bs angel about the Anniversary firefight map during the 20 question interview with L Askan.
“I’m going to go out on a limb and say it will be on the Pillar of Autumn in some form or fashion it just makes sense at least I think so.”
When I heard the words “Pillar of Autumn,” my heart sank. I asked to myself: Does this mean no flood?? Then I thought of vehicles. How are vehicles going to fit in this firefight map?? The only logical answer if there would be vehicles is in the hangar or loading bay.
But, this may be at the crash site of Pillar of Autumn. Flood and vehicles would make sense there.
I got my hopes up to high for this. I’m a little iffy on the matter until they announce something special about the map.
EDIT: At the time, I wasn’t aware of that the questions were asked by the Halo community. I just clicked on the link because it said something along the lines of 20 questions about Halo. I wanted to find news on Halo 4 and Anniversary. The post was made by bs angel, so I assumed that those questions were asked by her. Me being stupid, I didn’t realize that she posts everything. I’m very sorry for making those accusations. I just simply misread. I’m sorry bs angel.
I don’t care if the flood are in firefight or not. I’m sure 343i has much better things to do with their time than write in a bunch of new character models and animations (and whatever else) for a one-off appearance in a firefight map.
The only area on the ship I think would be a suitable firefight area would be the engine room. I’d love to see that, even if they just use covenant instead of the flood for the enemies.
It looks like she’s just making a guess though, she may not even know for sure what 343 is going to use for it. This isn’t exactly confirmed, but it is plausible. Let’s not repeat the Evil Otto incident again. The people who actually do know what the map is are probably sworn to secrecy.
During an interview on youtube somewhere, Frank O’Connor said that Damnation had a new Covenant theme instead of the original Forerunner water pumping facility.

I was going to leave out the part where bs angel said “at least I think so,” because some people may look at this quote like bs angel thinks it’s on the Pillar of Autumn. But in fact, she means that to herself, she thinks the map on the Pillar of Autumn makes sense. Don’t take this the wrong way, it’s just incredibly hard to explain
Oh man, anyone thinking what I’m thinking Halo Custom Edition esque map? I can’t think of the name but it was HUGE, you could fight in or out of the POA, with tons of ground space. Was it…Desolation? Decimation? I forget…
If any of you know what I’m talking about, I hardly expect it to be that big, nowhere near, but fighting at the crash site, in or out of the POA would be bad -Yoink-.

The 20 question interview with L Askan was done by a community site. I played no role in it, nor was I quoted.
