I know this may sound crazy, but what if Halo and Mass Effect were actually in the same universe but existed in different timelines, Halo being well all you halo fans already know, The Forerunners are fighting the flood and eventually use the Halo rings as a last resort, but what if that didn’t happen? What if in the Mass Effect Timeline, the forerunners were able to stop the flood, but made the Reapers in the process? I’m as of right now, finishing up the Mass Effect series, and I’ve noticed so many similarities between the two universes. What do you guys think If you want, I can dive deeper into this topic, I’m looking at the sims between the two universes and why we don’t see the Covenant in Mass Effect and why Humanity was able to expand so quickly unlike in Halo. And also there has been some accounts of the two universes having small easter eggs like these two examples:
