Halo: Advanced Titanfall

Come on 343i, can you not make a game that’s original and works? Ever since you guys took over Halo, you have not once done something good. Halo 4, Halo MCC and Halo 5 are all bad Halo games.

Halo 5 is a bad game you say? I’m sorry, I wasn’t aware that you played Halo 5 other than the beta.

Please be a troll post.

Well, i quite enjoyed the Halo 5 BETA. I can’t see the future as you have but I’m very interested in Halo 5. Everyone has their opinion.

Glad to see this very constructive post on the forums. Keep up the good work!

Reported. Now go troll somewhere else

I’m sure you’re smarter and more talented than everyone there. Why won’t they hire you to right the ship??

We’ve all seen it. It’s about as original as it is clever.

And you know this “original” game he wants so bad would just be a Halo 3 clone.

Where’d did you buy that time machine?

I agree. The game will be trash.

So Reach was good but Halo 4 wasn’t? I never got the comparison between the two games. Compared to the first three, those two are very similar.

If Trolling: A decent effort, but without any flash. Try harder.
If Not: Why exactly would you make this thread? What was it supposed to accomplish?

And are you basing this off of your personal experience playing the beta? Or are you just hanging out in a forum for a video game you haven’t played and already don’t like? Because that’d be weird & nonsensical.

I mean, there’s nothing wrong with not liking the game, it’s just that there are a lot of video games I don’t like … and I don’t, you know, hang out on their forums just interjecting little “this game you like sucks to me” remarks all the time. Because that would be weird and annoying.

Which is why I hang out here and not so much tell people what to do, as suggest it in a manner that would make it seem unreasonable not to.

 means not for seriously but kinda.

Didn’t Halo do the futuristic combat thing first?

Don’t forget hcea where they decided it was a great idea to make hce mp into reach mp. Faceplam

Yet here you are wasting your precious time on this forum .

You have to love when people are so ignorant that they decide to compare one game’s type of mechanics to that of another. If you had tried to compare AW to Halo 5, you would have had much better footing for this stupid argument, and when I say stupid, I mean stupid.

I loved the Beta, I didn’t play nearly as much of it as I would have liked, and while there are certain things I would have loved to see incorporated into the beta such as BTB, and better connections, that you claim that the game will be trash when the game is showing:

  • One of the best moments in Halo lore for a long while.- Immensely balanced 4v4 combat- Increased reason to use the library of weapons other than the Battle RifleIf you are trying to claim that what happened with the MCC will occur with Halo 5, it shouldn’t. As 343 Industries has show, that was a different branch of theirs working on MCC, while this branch has been focused on Halo 5. Just watching from the Halo Channel to watch “The Sprint” should have helped give you reason to have great faith in what 343 is doing with Halo 5.

If your problem stems from the connection issues, grow up. The game was in Beta, and those issues will be nothing to worry about once the game is released and has a week under it’s belt.

Honestly, the only reason I can understand you being a whining brat about this is if you are so stuck in the old ways of what Halo was, that you can’t accept the future of the franchise. If that’s the case, go ahead and go ahead and whine and cry while you play Halo 1, 2, and 3. The rest of us will be moving on with the future the franchise is making, and it looks like it will be a great one- not a perfect one… But a great one.

While I refuse to add more oil to the fire, I will say that someone needs to archive this thread for the history books.

Looking back, historians will wonder whether this was a prophetic vision or the delusions of a madman.

Please, tell me what I’m ignorant of. I like to think I’m pretty knowledgeable about the gaming scene as a whole. This is thrown around a lot at people discontented with Halo 5. I think what you really mean to say is “stupid”, except you know you can’t get way with calling people stupid so you choose a milder term.

More importantly, why is it stupid to draw comparisons between AW and Halo 5? Obviously some similarities exist, I’ve even seen people who are for Halo 5 acknowledge this.

One of the best moments in Halo lore? I’m not sure what you mean by that statement, but that’s a pretty subjective statement, as are the other two.

Personally I’m just kind of sitting here thinking “who the -Yoink- is Locke and why should I care?”

I.e. “have faith in Halo 5 because the developers said it’s all chill”. To be honest I was actually agreeing with this part of your post up until that portion. But no, I don’t expect Halo 5 to have the same issues as MCC. People need to understand that one is a giant collection of multiple engines, while the other is a standalone game. The latter is much less susceptible to problems.

> If your problem stems from the connection issues, grow up. The game was in Beta, and those issues will be nothing to worry about once the game is released and has a week under it’s belt.

It is a valid concern. Look at MCC, then look at how many Betas didn’t have networking issues in the past.
