Only confirmed thing that you can unlock in Infinite from Halo 5 is reaching max lvl of 155, and that reward is still unknown at the moment.

There is currently no confirmation for achievement based rewards from older games to Halo Infinite.
I’d certainly like there to be, I got all 700 achievements in MCC and some recognition for that would be cool.
The only cross game reward as of right now is the WatchDog Armour & Weapon Coating which you receive if you reach SR152 in Halo 5.
As for LASO in Halo Infinite, I can’t imagine there wouldn’t be. End of the day it’s just Legendary with all the Skulls on…
If they did I think it’d a case of h3 armor there was 3 sets for campaign (4 for hayabusa) and 2 armor sets for mp (I count the ODST mk v and rouge as their own thing) and then there was security for just score overall so it would be good but how many abd what would he unlocked is the question
I would definitely like to see some MCC achievements cross over into Infinite, and I think it’s very likely considering how much respect 343 is paying MCC right now. I’d be surprised if beating all of the campaigns on Legendary or achieving max rank doesn’t generate some sort of reward in Infinite. Or, what if we got a cool skull-based set of weapon skins for getting the LASO Master achievement?
I also hope that Infinite also offers Fire/Ice Unicorn weapon skins, because those Halo 5 Assault Rifles looked damn good with those skins equipped.
I sure hope so. After beating all of MCC solo Laso I’d wear any coating they gave me, dumb or not lol.
Given the work they’ve been putting into MCC, and the play time the community is giving it, it would be nice to have some kind of reward.
Halo 5 may be the previous game, but MCC is where most of the players likely are.
yeah it would be cool if we could unlock armor by doing things or completing the halo infinite campaign, kinda like halo 3.
I would be surprised if it was a large thing to do and them not announcing it soon to give people who haven’t accomplished it time to do so. You’d think they’d want to bring over as many MCC players as possible so you don’t want to set a challenge that sends people back to MCC for long periods of time.
It would make sense to announce something that could be easily accomplished on MCC in the next couple of months (maybe after the next flight) to encourage players to play more MCC and build up the hype.
Only 152 reward is known but I wouldn’t wonder if they will just make it free for everyone after some months or a year.
Okay I’m not 152 so I’ll be fine if it will be like that - cause tbh rank 152 is just like Achilles armor - pur grind and nearly no skill required.
Would be cool of course if they said now you will get a reward when you play all campaigns on legendary with or without laso but then people might still play mcc cause they want that reward too even when infinite is already released.
I prefer unlocks by challenge by the way, like vidmaster back in Halo 3 and ODST - just grinding is meh

Not part of the discussion but you are a Halo master to get all 700 MCC achievements, and I agree that such a feat should be rewarded.

True, but until they’re revealed fully I’m not really going to be including them as we don’t know what they are yet.
I am patiently awaiting to see what they are though! They last mentioned them in December last year ? Has been quite some time now.

actually we got a mention of them in the june inside infinite “Out of the gate players can get starting gear and get rewards from… legacy rewards (H5’s SR 152, for example)…” and normally you dont list your only reward as an example and it says rewardS with an S and normally you dont have an s for one item you know? since 343 has edited inside infinites before and this one is still like this i think its fair to assume they meant what they said (typed?).
