I have beat the level “Halo” for Halo:CEA on both Heroic and Legendary and the Level Complete Achievement will not unlock.
I have the “How Pedestrian” achievement that shows that I beat the level as well as the “Believe in a Hero” for beating the entire campaign.
I have seen a couple of other people with this issue, but no answer how to get it. I started a ticket with XBox Support, but they said it needs to go to 343i.

Complete it on normal and see if that works. Also try clearing your system cache and deleting your save. Then once you play it again, it may work. If it’s glitched there isn’t much you can do.

Sadly your level progress is all stored on your profile, deleting your game save does nothing.
A fix was never offered for those who had this issue.
That stinks, I’m pretty sure the achievement for killing all the elites on that one level was glitched for me. Because I had the right difficulty and level. And once i got to the ending part I went back and searched every nook and cranny in the level that I could. And when going through the level I made sure that even the Elites on the other side of that massive hole you can’t cross at the beginning were dead too. Maybe I missed one but I don’t think I did. But yours is for sure glitched, that stinks man. Sorry hopefully 343 will see your thread and be able to do something about it.

You can cross that area with a grenade jump i believe. You may have missed some there. Have you looked for any guides on YouTube to make sure you didn’t miss something?

Actually that area doesn’t count.
I just finished the level “Pillar of Autumn” on Legendary with four skulls active and did not unlock the Tsantsa Achievement either.
That is… upsetting.
I think some of the achievements may be a bit glitchy on this game. The skulls taken achievement should have unlocked for me for collecting half the skulls, but it didn’t. Can’t try it again as like little moa said, progress is saved to your profile.
It is annoying, but hopefully someone at 343i might be able to do something about it if enough people are having problems. I’ve seen many threads about cheevo problems with this game.
No word yet from 343 by Forum or Tweet. They are concerned with customer satisfaction, right?
So… been playing the game with skulls for different achievements and Tsante unlocked! Went back and played the “Halo” level again and that achievement unlocked as well. Issue resolved, though I’m not sure how.
