Okay… yep… this subject again and it is stupid that even in this post we are bound to see some very negative comments…
In the forums, even all over the internet there is abuse… lots of it… lots of assumptions and idiot man children (not to say women can’t be complete dolts too) that are slinging mud at each other… making fun of one another… “Casuals aren’t real gamers”… “Competitive players complain about everything.” “343 is stupid” So on and so forth…
This… NEEDS to stop… first of all if you are going to disagree with someone online it behooves you to be nice about it. George Carlin once said “If you scream in a mans face he will never listen, but if you make a man laugh, even if he has opposing views he will at least consider your point.”
The abuse needs to be done with and before people start saying “it’s the internet” then might want to remind you that this place was meant to be a social outlet, as well as a place for people to exchange ideas and plans. It is not a playground for bullies and “It’s the internet” isn’t an excuse not to be civil.
Now that I got that out of my system I suppose I can apologies for the Rant… yeah my bad…
Anyways I hope that this thread can be civil and people can remember that we are all Halo fans… We all love it for our own reasons.
