i’ve been reading through the forums and its mainly people saying they want Halo to be either more like, or less then halo 3 and previous games.
but what i’ve yet to see anyone talk about is all the new changes Halo will have that all other games didn’t, whole new elements that we have never seen in halo games. here are a few factors that will come into the new game.
-Dedicated servers
-running at 60FPS
-live elements
-larger games
Dedicated servers mean 343i have almost endless possibilities of how they control the server. (i don’t know much about it so i can’t say much ha)
running at 60fps means the game will be a lot smoother and being in the game will feel a lot better then how it normally does, which can make a large difference believe it or not.
live elements can change a map online at anytime, bringing tons of new strategy’s and a more entertaining and challenging game.
and larger games speaks for itself, more people means bigger maps and longer games.
Dedicated servers are a good thing, but if hit registration is client side and not server side (Like in Battlefield 3) then I will be slightly annoyed. But I guess that I can’t complain too much since we will finally have dedicated servers.
Frame-Rate honestly means nothing to me. As long as it is 30 or above it is fine by me.
Live Elements again don’t mean a thing to me.
Larger games also means nothing to me, Halo is best known for being a 4v4 arena shooter. Larger games only bring us further away from this. If I want larger games, I would play Battlefield 3 or something along those lines.
