There will be unfortunately no Halo 7.

There will most likely be a reboot in the form of ā€œHalo Infinite ends with Master Chief causing a time-loop effect, allowing us to endlessly reboot the franchise and make it a new time-loop.ā€

Ergo, my guess is that Halo 7 will just be a franchise reboot and be called ā€œHaloā€ with the sequel to this reboot being called ā€œHalo 2: Evolvedā€.

We will also see Halo Spinoffs in the form of the Fractures Multiverse, where we see extended versions of the Fractures multiverse stories being told through gameplay.

So now we would not only see the rebooted franchise, but also a series of spin-offs being explained away as ā€œthe other timeloops that splintered off from the ending of Halo Infiniteā€.

So we would see -

  • Biroid - A Halo Fractures Story
  • Belos - A Halo Fractures Story
  • Blackguard - A Halo Fractures Story
  • Drengr - A Halo Fractures Story

Honestly, such an ending to Halo Infinite would allow for the money train to keep rolling.
After all, do you think Microsoft is going to let Master Chief, their console star, be a thing of the past?
No.
They are going to put him on a pedestal like Mario and have Master Chief and Halo be a forever franchise.
Though unlike Nintendo, Microsoft will not have the forethought or restraint required for such an action.
They have shown such lack of restraint for the series over the past decade by letting the likes of Frank Oā€™Connor and Brian Reed smear mud over the franchise and call it ā€œartā€

makes me laugh thinking halo 7 is coming. if they have a lack of man power on this game, they surely wonā€™t be doing another game while this one is still being supported.

makes no sense.

the endless will likely be the next campaign for infinite as that is what the ending was pointing towards.
