Halo 7 I guarantee it

They should have never gave numbers or the word Halo to Halo 4 and 5.
Those two games didn’t even feature a Halo Array.

Halo CE has a Halo.
Halo 2 has a Halo.
Halo 3 has 7 Halos and the Ark.
“Halo” 4 has a Shield World.
“Halo” 5 has Guardians.

Halo Infinite deserves its Halo name and deserves a number, but it doesn’t and shouldn’t be tagged with 6. Not in a million years. I think that’s why they decided to go with Halo Infinite.

Halo 6 just doesn’t look pretty, because 4 and 5 were just so ugly.

Andromeda … you mean Anthem… Anthem had so much potential.

EA pulled the plug on Anthem 2.0

Totally forgot about Anthem and just read this.
It would be sad if that happens to Halo Infinite.

Add a “h” before the “ttps” to open to the website.

343i and Xbox have said that Halo Infinite is gonna be the mainline client for Halo game content going forward for the next 10 years.

To me, what “The next 10 years of Halo” means is that it’s a Master Chief Collection, but they’re making the games that’ll be filling out said collection, and the multiplayer is one unified set of mechanics/weapons/etcetera. The next mainline Halo game is going to launch, the “Campaign” on the main menu will get an “s” added at the end, and it’ll be installable individually just like the games are installable individually to the MCC. This seems like the route that 343i wants to go with Infinite, and I think it’s a good idea.

Two thirds cut? Where the hell did you hear that? What’s your source?

I understand things will get fixed; it should have been there from the start. But it’s a waste of time complaining about what should have been. I think that people should look at the good, every week there is free weekly challenge award. The future events are little lackluster but the cyber showdown and Tactical one looks cool. Free content for cosmetics as well new modes and possible maps coming. Every 2 months they should try to add new map.

Agreed it should’ve been there from the start, but again it’s important to recognize and appreciate fixes.

I’m not sure if you’re suggesting I am or on board with my criticisms of such lol.

I totally agree with all of this

I was saying how everyone is being captain obvious instead of saying what to do or being productive with the criticism.

Bloomberg article. I wouldn’t look too deep into this though. This could mean Halo Infinite was planned to have so much content that it wouldn’t have been feasible to release all of it, either due to limitations or lack of polish. Like aiming for the stars, but you just shoot for the moon.

Well, if you pay attention to the daily population, it certainly does not look like it will be dying anytime soon. Steam has a very stable player base, and whenever they update challenges it jumps again.
I think people underestimate what it takes to have a game be “dead”

MCC has roughly 4k players per day on steam, consistently. That is enough for me to never have an issue finding a match on ANY game, and 343 still updated that game in its “dead” state.

Halo is not in as bad as state as anthem was. The potential is huge for Halo and the gameplay it’s fun. Again they also did the same thing to mass effect Andromeda. I think behind the scenes there was just too many problems that they basically had to start from scratch to even try to fix that game and that’s the reason why they pulled it because there’s nothing they can really do because they were limited like I said I watch the Mass Effect documentaries and they were forced to use that frostbite engine. I don’t wanna see Halo be held back because of limitations of a crappy sabre engine. Like if they came out and said hey listen this is not the ideal game we wanted to deliver even though the core game play we nailed come this May season two update you’re gonna have to re-download 40 GB and it’s basically going to be an entire different UI progression system and hear some new maps that’s what I want to see

The rumors I saw were saying that it was a potential Halo Wars 3 game.

Either way, 343 don’t have the capability to work on one game at a time, let alone 2. This is nonsensical and quite frankly insulting to us as a fanbase to feed these lies to us.

Of course they’ll potentially do it. That’s not the point.
They have a working system, and have had it for years now in MCC, it has to my knowledge not garnered much bad feedback.
So the question isn’t that they’ll eventually fix this one, but that they made it in the first place, in need of fixing when they have a functional one to model it after.
Top that off with Sketch’s post, and comments on not really enjoying it themselves.

Death sentence? If it’s off-putting enough, then yes, it potentially can be

That may as well also be true, not arguing that.
Me disliking the hypothesis doesn’t mean I don’t accept the outcome.

That’s been on for a while. The article I saw only said unannounced. Though I skipped reading in fear of getting something spoiled.

However,

Maybe not, but Microsoft registered the title Halo: Endless not too long ago.

Halo Infinite is a gaas release. 343i has already said they have no plans for the next mainline title for the next ten years.

Expect it to be like Destiny 2 (like large bi-annual expansions)

Just want to be clear: halo is not built on saber engine but BLAM engine till halo 5. Blam is the engine built by bungie since 1999.

Slipspace is built new from ground up.

Saber is only in remastered ones.

MCC Games are held up by UE4 that launches every specific version of blam and saber

Infinite is Halo 7 though.

Honestly I want Infinite to be abandoned just so we can all wash our hands of this garbage free to play system.

I don’t know about you guys but I’m absolutely sick of battlepasses and in game stores in AAA games.

lmfao, if only we could keep that mindset now

9 months ago we didn’t know season 3 would be pushed back almost half a year from where it was supposed to be.

I was hoping someone would find my hopeful words that would come back to bite me  I’ll own up to it

@xLEFx777x @Freak_A_Fan my friend, you have “missed the point“ yet again

Well technically you’re correct. That is, if you’re counting Halo Reach, but since that one wasn’t numbered or part of Master Chief’s POV/Trilogy/Whatever, Halo Infinite is Halo 6.
Halo CE (1)
Halo 2
Halo 3
Halo 4
Halo 5: Guardians
Halo Infinite (6)
