Although this has not been confirmed as a gonna happen, today it was revealed that Microsoft bought the domain names for Halo 7, 8, and 9. I can only see Halo Wars 2 and a ODST 2 coming from this but the third one baffles me.

a domain is a website name, in this case Halo 7.net could be a replacement name for halo wars 2. like i said this may be jumping the gun…

MS purchased the website names for Halo 7,8, and 9. Currently nothing is being done with them, but MS owns them just in case they want to do something with them.
I think that is jumping the gun just a bit.
Jumping the gun hugely there, I think it was Call of Duty who bought the domains callofdutyblackops1-10.com a while back.
It is so people can’t use them for phishing in the near future, doesn’t mean they’ve got this many games planned this early on.
