In my opinion Halo 5 had a big lack in content. Even now when I play Halo 4 it feels like a lot more work has been put into the Game. I have no idea why they didn’t include a revised version of spartan ops at least to add a bit more as its a bit lacking. If this was due to time, I definitely they should delay Halo 6 to add more in as 5 was a slight disappointment. Note – I think that the updates are great and have added a lot to game and they really listen to the community compared to other games like COD.

I Agree, Many Reason Why Halo 4 Stuff Didn’t Come Back Cause Microsoft Didn’t Want Anything To DO With Halo 4. I Would Love To See A Better Version of Spartan Ops Return, But Be Named Different. Halo 6 Should Be Delayed To Deliver More Content So I Agree There. Halo 6 Should Have All Content On Launch And Weekly/Monthly Content For Years After. Thanks For The Reply? Any Other Thoughts?

Completely Agree. I dont know if you got Halo 5 when it first came out but it was around 45GB and the updates make up around 50GB which just shows you how little content it had in the first place + what they added. I have played all the Halo’s and I feel like that Halo 4 was by far the best; the amount of content they included was amazing. Spartan ops felt like a second campaign and I dont know why they wouldn’t do something like it again. Also, the most annoying thing about halo 5 was the loadouts and the assault rifle. It might just be me but I find the magnum much more superior than the assault rifle. It just should be like that as the assault rifle is the most iconic weapon in all of halo. Another point is that they should add at least one game mode (in arena) where you can change your loadout. I always used the battle rifle in Halo 4 multiplayer and I find it very hard to play with the assault rifle. Thoughts?

Halo 4 Was The Worst Halo IMO, For Multiplayer GAMEPLAY Simply Cause it Wasn’t Halo, I Played Halo 4 A Lot, And A LOT, I Loved It Cause Of My Old 360 Friends And Customs Were Great, But Hal;o 4 Had A Lot Of Content, But A Bad Game-play and Hard To Get In Story. If You Knew What Was Going On In The Story For Halo 4 It Was A Decent Campaign, But Sadly Of Lot Of Players Were Confused. Another Thing Is That There Wasn’t Much To Keep Players Playing Halo 4. Halo 5 Has Good Game-play But Everything Else Around Is Badly Executed. Halo 5 Should’t Have A Loud-out Playlist Simply Cause Its Unpopular, Bad For Halo Cause It Resembles Cod And Not Halo And It Would Split The Game Further. Now Loud-outs I Would Be Fine If It Was A Custom Game Only Option But I Don’t Think They Should Take The Time To put That In Only For Customs. To Put It Simply Load-outs Should Never Return IMO. If Halo 4 Had Classic Gameplay, Ranking Like Halo 3’s And Some Other Stuff It Would Have Been Better, And An Easier To Know campaign. I Feel Why Halo 5’s Campaign Was So Dumb Downed Cause People Complained About Halo 4’s being Confusing SO An Attempt To Fix That Was To Dumb Down Halo 5’s… About The Magnum And AR. That Mag Is OP compared To The AR, IMO It Should Be AR Starts Only. I Am Going To Be Messing Around With That Idea Later In Customs If You’d Like To Help, Thoughts?
Under the “ship now, finish later” model I get to play something sooner even if I don’t get to play everything right out of the gate. Now if you’re worried that this means at some point they’ll start to “finish later” with a price tag attached (as every other game seems to do these days) then that’s a legitimate concern. But that isn’t what they’ve done with Guardians, which is now the most content-rich Halo there has ever been. All for $60 unless you’ve dropped your college fund on reqs. I call that a pretty incredible bargain.
I understand the path that 343 took for Halo 5 - why it shipped like it did and the road it took to get to the Monitor’s Bounty update. With the framework they’ve built for Halo 5 and surrounding services over the last year, I think it’s safe to say that they have a really great base for getting future Halo games ready for launch. They only reason a sequel would launch like Halo 5 again is if the decided to do yet another ground up rework of the Halo engine, which I really don’t see happening for a long time.

Tbh I think that it shouldn’t even BEGIN to have a release date planned until it’s completely finished and bug-proofed.
With at least 20 playlists at launch.
It needs A LOT of content at launch to make up for it’s ancestor’s sins.

Agreed.

Halo games don’t need 20 individual playlists…15 at most
I wouldn’t mind it being as late as 2020 if its a good game a launch
I’m kind of worried about Halo 6’s development. They have so much on their plate with continuing Halo 5 support, HW2, and now, a year in development, the head of the studio changed which will probably affect development if they want to change around a lot of stuff. I’d much rather them take the time they need to get to a place where they’re comfortable instead of scrambling for a 2018 release. At the same time, it’s Halo. Microsoft probably won’t give them several years, it’s their flagship franchise. But I have hope Phil Spencer will not release a half baked Halo now that he’s xbox boss.
2018 is perfectly fine. People just need to understand that it will not be perfect no matter when it launches.

Yeah, maybe you’re right but…
20 would be fun.
But still… The release date should just be announced when development is done.
