Now it’s been a year, and we have got all these updates etc How do you think H6 will turnout? The game plays completely different than how it was shipped. Even campaign has had a few additions to make it the slightest bit re-playable, how do you feel about the next installment?
I’ve got to say, I’ve been hating on 343 for the longest time, but these last few months (especially this new update) I feel the game is in a great place, and I’m sure 343 can tell how grateful we are for the changes they have done to the game.
I feel I have a very strange outlook on the future outcome of H6, I mean on one hand with forge, the guns, custom browser and just the arena gameplay in general I feel they have actually done outstanding looking back on it. It has taken a while to get here, but now I feel the game is complete… and then some.
However, I am worried about the campaign as I have no idea how they will salvage the story. This is very important to me as it is what sets the tone of how I feel about the game overall.
Regardless of my personal preference, how do you think H6 will turn out taking into consideration all that has been to H5?
I feel if they have all the stuff they have now but improved ie customs browser, forge etc and then improved that story, the next installment may be the greatest Halo that we have seen in the franchise.

Yea i hope the skins you have in H5 also transfer into H6
I’m not worried at all about the multiplayer portion. They have that down pretty well, and they have done more than Bungie has when it comes to maintaining support for the game. It’s great, and it’s even better that they do all of it without us paying a dime (save for a few things here and there that are relatively small).
My only worry, like yours and many others, is I don’t know how they are going to make a good story out of what we got in Halo 5. If they can pull it off, fantastic, but I am not hopeful in that regard.
I have no hope for Halo 6 at all. After a year of asking for a classic playlist they have the gall to give us Anniversary WITH abilities! That was a straight up slap in the face of every Classic fan that has asked for a Classic Halo game type since launch. They have no interest in the Bungie Halo fanbase , or even Bungie Halo , so I have no faith in them.

Yeah, I agree 100%. I think the UI and pre-game lobbies need some major changes, but that is one of my only current gripes along with the disastrous campaign.
Halo 6 is probably going to be the first Halo game that I don’t buy at all, used or otherwise.
Many of the problems with Halo 5 are things that didn’t bother me much, or things I could look past. I can look past a lackluster campaign. I can look past a lack of game modes at launch. I can look past a lack of split screen. I can look past the ugly artstyle. However, I cannot look past the gameplay. I vehemently oppose the “enhanced” mobility gameplay existing in a Halo game. To me, the movement mechanics from the past few Halo games completely ruin the experience, and I’m done giving money to it. I will never buy another Halo game with a sprinting mechanic in place. Sadly, sprint is probably here to stay. I may rent the next Halo game from Redbox to see what they do with the story, but I will never own a copy if it contains sprinting. The games with these mechanics aren’t fun to play, and buying a copy would be a waste of money. Look at my service record. 8 matches of Halo 5’s multiplayer is all that I could stomach. I waited until I found a used copy before buying it(it’s the first Halo sequel I didn’t buy at a midnight launch). And, because the gameplay choices turn me off from the game so much, it was pretty much a waste of money.
I would like to see more of the recent mobility additions be stripped from the franchise, but sprinting is where I’m drawing the line with my continued support of the franchise. The rest of the bad mechanics fall under that whole, “it sucks, but I can look past it” thing.
