Bring back BRs as Primary in MLG. Being back the 1-50 ranking system like halo 3. Halo 5s ranking system absolutely does not separate skill. Start everyone from the bottom and earn your rank to the top. Halo 5 gameplay is terrible. Halo 4 and Halo ( were the biggest disappointments as a competitive gamer. My whole town used to play together after school. Halo 2 and 3. We would all agree halo 4 and 5 gameplay is ridiculous. The innovations with sprinting and jet packs and floating in the air is extremely unnecessary. It is not cool or fun or adhance gameplay. Keep it original. Multiplayer has died a lot since after halo 3 and this is why. Everyone I play with online and I get this discussion going says the same thing I’m saying. Please make halo great again… 1-50 ranking system. BRs as primary for MLG or team slayer

Worth noting that Halo 5 already uses the same 1 - 50 ranking system as Halo 3, only with a few minor differences:

  • numbers are replaced with tiered levels
  • the top end passed 50 is opened up, you could rank higher than a 50 in Halo 3 but it was never exposed visually
  • placements matches assist in finding your skill level faster
