With Halo 6 on the horizon (Probably) it got me thinking about what i’d like out of the game, here’s what id like the next entry in the series to be like in a perfect world.
- Classic Gameplay. No sprint, or spartan abilities. ADS I can deal with as long as its doesn’t affect accuracy and bullet spread. - Classic Art Style. Imo Halo 5 looks worse than Halo 3/Reach in many ways, due to the weird shaders, and over complicated enemy and armor design. I have a feeling it won’t hold up very well in the future. - A simple but captivating story. Halo CE had my favorite story and atmosphere, it has a sense of mystery that not a lot of games can capture. Id like Halo 6 to follow in those foot steps. - 10 Hour or more campaign. Halo 5 was pitiful, i think it only took my around 4 hours to beat on my first play through. - NO MICRO TRANSACTIONS. There is many arguments in favor in keeping them, but in all honesty, id rather buy the DLC. REQ packs intrude on the rest of the game and split resources elsewhere and in general muddle the experience. - Achievement based progression system. I wanna earn my armor, or at the least, a credit system - Rich armor customization, building upon Reach. I want my spartan to look unique and stand out, give us options! - All Gamemodes at launch, with dev made BTB mapsThats about it, other than obvious stuff like a good forge, but Halo 5’s was great.
