I know it seems relatively early to already be taking about what we want for the next major Halo game, but to that I say two things: 1) 343 have said that Halo 6 is under serious development, and that they even know how the game will end, so early ideas can help; 2) I remember a Halo 5 wishlist as early as this when Halo 4 came out, and even early ones for the latter.
So let’s get to it. Please keep in mind that whatever you want, it has to be in the context that you wish for Halo 6 to be the best Halo ever. As in, all the good stuff. I have a few things to add, but please let me know what you guys and gals hope for Halo 6 to have.
1) A deeper, more character-driven story like Halo 4’s (maybe get the lead writer for HuntTheTruth); Basically a much better story 2) Longer campaign 3) Forge at launch (as good, if not, better than Halo 5’s) 4) Improved Firefight 5) Social playlists with Infection, Action Sack, and King of the Hill at launch 6) A potentially improved Warzone 7) Split-screen (not that I care too much, but I know a lot of people want this) 8) More map variety 9) Better graphics; beyond obvious 10) More Master Chief 11) Improved squad commands and AI 12) More vehicles (preferably UNSC aerial vehicles) 13) While I find the in-game Arena in Halo 5 to be perfect, maybe add things like varied equipment pick-ups 14) Too many maps seem like the same thing but with different skins (The Rig, Fathom, Eden, Empire: all human structures, stairs, one open space, 90-degree angles, et cetera), so more map aesthetic variety like Zanzibar from Halo 2, or Narrows and High Ground from Halo 3 15) Heck, add an entirely new mode like Forge was to Halo 3, or Firefight to ODST

> This is a great point OP. I believe Halo 4 had the best story in the franchise. Hopefully 343i goes back to this with their next installment into the series.

> I’m not too fond of warzone (maybe it’s because I stink at it). However, I would like it if the weapons we earn for warzone would be made available for use during the campaign and social playlists on Arena.

> Yes, this is a must have for Halo 6. I would also like it if the next Halo was darker in terms of colors (more dark blues/blacks/greens and less bright/neon orange/blue and indigo coloring. The forerunners have way too much color variations going on. it was annoying with 4 and even more so with Halo 5.

> YES PLEASE… I NEED THE MC IN MY LIFE
> (its cool that 343i is shifting more focus to new characters… but PLEASE GIVE LOCKE MORE PERSONALITY!!!)

> yes, what about the UNSC Grizzly? That dual cannon wielding juggernaut of a tank. How much fun would it be to blow stuff up with ease during a difficult mission in Halo 6?
> 13) While I find the in-game Arena in Halo 5 to be perfect, maybe add things like varied equipment pick-upsThis is where 343i hit one out of the park making Halo 5 Guardians shine. I am so proud of their efforts in H5’s multiplayer modes. The in game mechanics are, in my opinion, the best out of every halo game to date. It would be nice if a social playlist was included at launch along with more weapon pick ups/drops.

Please, please, please, 343, do not drop the social HUB ‘missions’. Expand on them, give us even more to see, hear, and do. Such a cool experiment, that served to draw me further into the narrative. It was great to hear the philosophical ramblings of Sangheili, and an Unggoy referencing vehicle changes over the course of the series - well, everything to do with the Unggoy was particularly brilliant. Scientists discussing alien tech, marine banter, and so on. It was a great change of pace.
Don’t label them ‘missions’, though. I think that only worked against them, given the expectations. Just have them intros or outros. Perhaps optional, whereby the player can decide to rest up, and mingle, or progress with the Campaign.
