We as a community haven’t had the best days but I feel this should be where we draw lines and come togeather to discuss what we NEED in a halo 6 . You may state anything of your opinion as long as you back it up with reason , I will say mine . To start with the Spartan abilitys need tweaking due to heavy complaints of Spartan charge and the more uncommon ground pound , clamber should stay in because crouch jump is still useful to me and is not deminished , sprint should stay in my opinion Because it to me is more of a way to get to a battle rather than running away and due to the recharge halt while sprinting so you can’t run. And to continue , we need more vehicle & infantry equality . And for 1 weapon to come back , we need the brute shot and dual wield must also return, but that is only in my honest opinion . Now all halo players discuss in peace so we may fully yet again enjoy this epic series .
I think playable elites should be back because now it would be supported by a lore standpoint. The Swords of Sanghelios could be thrown into the spartan training program as additions. Even if it wasn’t allowed in competitive arena, I’d love to play as an elite again.

Agreed , and also halo should restore the credit system and customization in halo 6 from reach but should allow us to pay if we don’t choose to earn points only so Microsoft can still get microtransactions and so we can reach a compromise with the corporate officials so they walk home with a bit less cash and we play halo a bit more happy also classic playlists so people who love bungie can get a mix of classic slayer and objective and a second playlist of classic btb

I firmly believe that sprint needs to be removed from the franchise. It is harmful to so many areas of gameplay from creating the need for stretched out maps, creating the need for longer ranged weapons, creating the need for faster kill times, and diminishing the usefulness of vehicles. Sprint is a cancer on the Halo series and I will not buy another Halo game that features it. At this point, sprint has been through three games’ worth of tweaks and re-balances, and it STILL doesn’t fit the franchise. How many times must we try to fit this square peg into a round hole before realizing that maybe Halo would just be better off without it?

The only thing Halo 6 NEEDS is for microtransactions not to be expanded. Everything else is preference, and varies with which portion of the fanbase you’re talking to.
For my personal preference, I would like to see a longer campaign with a more mystery to it.
It would also be nice if a way can be found to re-introduce split-screne without detrimentally reducing the game’s other features.
I would like Forge to be available offline like it was in the previous games (I don’t like not being able to use it when I don’t have an active Gold Account).
I would like cutscenes to be skipable.
I would like more agency in the cinematic moments, instead of them just being turned cutscenes.
I would like 343 to hire highly skilled martial-artists to do the choreography and motion capture so spartan fights look more impressive than Chief vs Locke in Halo 5.
I would like more vehicle-friendly maps for Multiplayer.
I 100% want the current weapon balance to stay the same as Halo 5 (I would also be happy if the Incineration Cannon became a bit more like the Halo 4 version)
I 100% want mobility to stay the same as Halo 5.

Eh…I personally got pretty confused by CE’s open world environment. I need the objective clearly labeled…so I’d vote no to that…

The only problem I had with Halo CE’s lvl design was that it would only give you the objective once in a while, or when it wasn’t important. If the objective was displayed more often then in Halo CE, I would love to see that kind of non-linear lvl design.
