Guy please hear me out, You may not like micro transactions in halo but in companies point of view thats the only way they can make revenue for future games and events. Or else we would have to buy DLCs. So the best way to keep them is Worzone an alpha packs.
ALPHA PACKS:
I don’t think its a good idea to make armors and stands in alpha pack. Halo req system should be an adaptation of halo reach and halo 5 system. Where people could buy armors using req points and alpha pack for weapon skins and weapons for worzone. Then a special pack called Omega pack for Vehicle and xp boost only. I remember days when I would open alpha pack only for vehicles but the thing i got would be uncommon skins.
WARZONE:
Warzone playlist which many players might hate for it getting farmed and unbalanced vehicle spawn. And there are players who love it because you are able to play with friends, being able to use all the weapons in the game and for grinding req points as well as xp boost. The best way to bring back warzone would be to limit the vehicle spawn for each player (4 to 5 in an entire game) and for the team (4 to 5 vehicle in play). As well as it would be great if there were limitations on weapons according to it variation from common (max use upto 5 times) to legendary (max use upto 2 or 3 times).
[Problems with dlcs: if you don’t agree with micro transactions #Alpha pack. Are you willing to buy dlcs. Even if you are able to the buy dlcs there are other players who can’t buy them. Which leads to less players in dlc maps (just like battlefield 1) and making the game have less lifespan]

An improved Warzone including firefight. Yes please!
eh I don’t like discussing stuff like req packs, seems scummy to me. But I do like warzone
If we have to have the req system I would love to keep cosmetics separate from everything else. Having separate packs for weapons/vehicles sounds good.
No.
Defending predatory publisher practices is a huge problem and doesn’t help with making these stupid casinos go away.
We hope they put the Warzone Firefight
They aren’t even called alpha packs ya been playing to much r6 lol
Or why don’t we just remove these trash mix all together, if they make good map packs you bet I’ll buy them. And why are we encouraging these anti consumer practices? Just listen to fan feedback and you can be sure that lots of people will buy the game and will be more than happy to pay for a map pack if the maps are high quality.
Packs/Microtransactions:
Get rid of any sort of random drops. Have gear in the game that is earned through challenges and/or gear that is bought with credits earned in game without being super grindy. As for micro transactions, let me buy the gear I wan’t. If they make a good game I will buy stuff as long as I can buy what I want. If they leave it up to chance in some sort of pack or crate they lose my money.
Warzone:
I enjoyed Warzone but I want them to focus on the competitive side of the game first. IMO the maps in Halo 5 were bad. A decent amount of good competitive maps at launch should be first priority before Warzone or anything of the sort is added.

Sorry it my bad i get mixed up with both the thing sometimes.
I’d rather pay for DLC than microtransactions, but that’s just me.

They have to make money one way or another. Or we would have to buy all dlcs and extra maps which is going to be a waste of money bcoz there is gonna be lots of people who wont buy them which would effect the game in long run. Its best to keep req pack but in a way which i hav mentioned above in the post

We both might be able to buy them but there are lots of player who don’t like to spend that much money. And req system gives a way to pay the developer from people who are ready to spend money and free full future dlcs for the player who don’t want to spend money but loves the game. It would be like battlefield 1 and battlefront all over again if that happens.

They make money off game sales, toy sales and special editions. They make enough money trust me.Dlc is at least substantial content, you know what your getting. You know how many people I’ve seen on these forums say they’ve spent hundreds of dollars on req packs, but people won’t spend 10 to 15 on a map pack? How does that make sense

U might have seen people that can spend money but have thought that may be like 5 to 10 % of the community. I hav already experienced it in halo reach and halo 4 dlc. There was not a single soul that played. I had to wait for 2 to 3 hrs of full time or even to get some player to play. U already know halo reach was most played game and still didn’t hav enough players playing dlcs.
I have no problem with REQs costing cash, as long as they’re easy to get in-game, and don’t contain permanent unlocks

It’s because of the price and the fact that people who played that game already didn’t like the direction the franchise was going and would rather just play the maps they can without spending additional money for other maps.I only bought 1 dlc for reach and the maps were good, but I wasn’t gonna spend more because of the low player base and just for a few extra achievements. If devs actually lowered the price for their dlc then most people would buy it.I haven’t bought a map pack in awhile, but I don’t think people like spending 15 bucks or more for 3 maps.AND definitely more then 5 percent of the player base spent money on req packs, how do u you think the championship series was funded
