Just thinking of how cool it would be if they introduced armorless spartans in halo 6. It would make sense in swat because of the lack of shields. Also some customization for your spartan on a human level instead of just armor pieces. I get this could rub people the wrong way because halo is so entwined with the armor, but I still think it could have some applications.
I really don’t agree with this. Armor less Spartans don’t make much sense to implement into Halo, also it would be extra work for 343. Lore wise, Spartans only go into battle with their armor, never without it.

The S-IIs DID train without MJLONIR until its introduction in 2525. And all S-IV operatives undergo similar training without armor until they’re fully used to their augmentations.
So from a lore standpoint it COULD work.
I would like the customization aspect, but otherwise not so much.

Why go through the hassle when just disabling the shielding system on the armor itself makes more sense? It’s just unnecessary guff.
I don’t really feel as if this would matter since I don’t think anyone really cares enough
Swat is terrible who cares what they do with it
If they had a gamemode where Spartans are armorless then they would REALLY need to consider making the Spartan males a bit more muscular, since right now if you wear armor with gaps or less pieces you can see that they are rather gaunt. I know that at 7 feet tall its harder to build muscle and look proportionate, but the Spartans are space marines with superhuman body structures. They should look a bit more filled out, especially in the arms, neck, and chest.
Armor-less as a whole, no. But I would approve of a “No helmet” customization helmet for Halo 6, like you could in Halo 3 ODST when it came to Firefight.
