As you know, not many people liked the Halo 5 story. It is in my opinion logical that 343 would like to somehow continue the story of halo 4 which was pretty good. In the halo 4 epilogue it appears that the didact is talking to other forerunners. Could that mean that forerunners could make a comeback? Possibly join humanity in a campaign against cortana since she wants to claim the mantle, and didact made it clear that the mantle belongs to forerunners alone. Then, I imagine they would betray us in the end which would open the door to future halo games. What are your thoughts on this?
Don’t worry about it. Just play some H5 multiplayer.
The Didact was insane and the surviving Forerunners who made it to the Ark did not share his beliefs. If the Forerunners come back and betray us, then that just shatters the ending of Halo: SIlentium with the Iso-Didact hoping the children of humanity and children of Forerunners could come together as brothers and sisters. 343 already ruined one ending, Halo 4’s, no need to do that with an excellent book.

idea of humans and forerunners working together would be awesome but after the fight with Cortana forerunners betraying us it wouldn’t be too surprising considering the flood did that in halo 3 so I wouldn’t be surprised plus it would interfere with the ending to one of the books screwing that up we don’t need that idea is good but not sure how people would accept it due to the relations it would have with Halo: Silentium
Hopefully we visit that…“Bastion”, which I think it’s the last Stronghold of the alieve Forerunners. (Intel data Halo 5)
