Well if you’re like me, then you’ve read every book in the Halo series to date. I know that we were introduced to Locke and his team, but what about Gamma company? In the most recent book (Last Light) we’re taken to a large cave system in the planetary system of Gao. With the help of the investigator assigned to this mission, we embark with Gamma Company and Blue team (minus Chief) to find out who has been killing innocent local people. The ending led me to believe that we may see Gamma company again in missions involving Blue Team. The ending of Halo 5 led me to believe that humanity may need all the Spartans they can get. In my opinion, it would be pretty cool to play as a Spartan III, and maybe instead of looking for health packs, look for “Smoothers” to survive. When you approach death, maybe even get an adrenaline rush (damage buff, speed boost, increased health). Maybe even learn how different it feels to be Spartan III opposed to Spartan II’s. Anyone agree?
I agree, I mean could you imagine a game cut scene where all the Spartans II, III, and IV fighting in a battle of impossible odds. Not only that but the Spartan IIIs get alot of credit in the books but I feel like its time they get more spotlight in a game especially a game like Halo 6.

I would like to see what Spartan IV fire teams are made up of members of Gamma company. There is a wealth of possible backstory to tell there. Perhaps a small rivalry between Spartan IIIs and Spartan IVs like the Spartan IIs and the ODSTs.
Yes indeed Spartan IIIs would be a great addition to Halo 6, please 343 give us Spartan IIIs! I also think it would be cool to be able to play as Spartan IIIs, maybe not in the campaign if they cant mesh it, but maybe in a Spartan ops stealth mode kind of thing would be cool!

Hell no! In the words of Kurt-051 (a S-II), Gamma Spartan-IIIs are “the finest Spartans ever”!
If anything, ONI doesn’t want the public knowing the Gammas need “smoothers” to avoid turning into crazy killing machines. So, publicly, S-IIIs are all listed as KIA; when in reality some of them went into the Ferret Team and many others into the S-IV program.

As if having a M or R rating has EVER kept kids away from any game at any point in history…
With Cortana going power crazy we are going to have to rethink over tactics which means more stealth and which Spartan know stealth the best the IIIs.
I want to see a fire team of team sabre being led by Tom and Lucy, the whole last light thing happened in 2553 so the Gamma’s should be in their early 20’s by now and out of the spec ops teams
