Halo 6: Spartan Charge and Button Combos

In Halo 5,the ability Spartan Charge is a low risk/high reward move, where you charge a spartan at medium distance with a high chance of hitting. Because Spartan Charge has high magnetism. This results in the enemy losing their shields, and half their health.

The reason people hate this mechanic is because it’s easy, has no depth, and does too much damage and knockback. So in Halo 6, it has to change…

Halo 2 is fresh on our minds because it’s recent 12 year anniversary. Halo 2’s a very deep game. Not so much in weapon sandbox (BR TOO OP), but it’s campaign, level design, and map design were all unique and fun to play. Halo 2 also had something no other FPS had done before. Button Combos.
Although it was a glitch, Bungie owned it and let it say in the game. This added a new layer of skill to the melee system and made Halo 2 much more interesting.

Now what if we combined the two? I’m proposing a base spartan charge nerf for Halo 6. Less damage and knockback for the regular spartan charge. But if you BXR, BXB, or Double Shot, it will have added effects on that spartan charge. In my opinion it would make the game less stressful at a social level, and more complex at a competitive level.

TLDR COMBINE THE MELEE SYSTEMS OF HALO 2 AND HALO 5. it would be interesting

I haven’t played Halo 2’s multiplayer, so I’m not sure what these button combos are, but it almost sounds like you want to turn Halo into Street Fighter

Well if you want a good history lesson on one of the greatest games of all time, then look up Halo 2 button combos. They made the game so much more interesting in cqc.

I was expecting this to be a post about activating Spartan Charge by inputting:

Don’t be silly Konami is to busy ruining their company, to do anything like adding their code into Halo. Why would they do something like that, when they could make more Metal Gear Pachinko? -_-
