I miss the Halo 2,3 and reach pre game lobby and it looked awesome and people talk when they are bored. Veto in Halo 3 was so awesome, better than voting system. I don’t want voting to come back as people always pick the same one.
In Halo Reach we, can see people’s ganertag, profile, customization, ranks, how they did in the campaign, their stats and you can choose who to mute. Halo 4 and 5 didn’t have a good pre game lobby. In halo 5, we can only see emblems and a mute all mutton. In Halo 6, they should be both optiuon of mute all and a mute button.
Voting system was not a good idea but thank god 343 removed it, Veto needs to come back in return. It’s a good idea to do a ban system if people quit but in halo 5’s launch, people instantly get banned even though they disconnected which sucked. A warning sign should come first of people just quit but if they disconnect, no warning or ban.
Best thing off all is, party leaders, where is a player is a leader in a lobby, he can return to lobby and we return as well if he wants to play custom games as well. That was an easier way to play custom games, custom game browser is a fantastic idea but like it takes long to make, i would like these to see in return for Halo 6.
I’d like to see the veto system return as well. Voting, as you said, always led to the same maps being picked. The veto system was a risk-reward deal so it made players think before they hit the X button.
Agree with you on the pre-game lobby topic as well. I don’t understand the thought process behind the design of Halo 5’s lobby. I get they wanted to hide ranks and that’s fine, but why leave so much empty space on the screen with no details about players whatsoever? It took away a lot of the human aspect in my mind. I personally think Halo 4’s was done well, but I can see why you don’t like it. Of course, Reach did it best.
I like a cool backgrounds, Halo 4’s one was alright but didn’t have the same expression as 3 and reach did. Reach did better if you want to look at peoples profile in the game, but i agree, reach had an awesome pre game lobby except for voting system.
My favorite thing that was wiped out from reach was party leaders.
We need a pregame lobby for sure, if only for the veto option. It was great and made the matches more personal too, especially when you matched with the same people.
Also, the pregame lobby helps with orienting you before a game starts. Currently in MCC, there’s no pregame lobby and when I search social with lots of game modes I have no idea what I’m even playing until the game starts. Really annoying.
Just ANOTHER thing that Reach did perfectly. Playing it right now, and man I love the look of the pregame and postgame. The entire look of Reach is amazing.
MCC and 5’s pre game lobby were dissapointimg, just bored waiting, H3 had the best community with file shares and people talk in the lobby, we can see what team they are going on.

If they did this people would just unplug their Ethernet or turn off their router to quit matches. It definitely sucks getting a ban for lagging out, but if its a regular thing you probably shouldn’t be playing online anyways.
Halo Reach had a perfect lobby. You could see the rank, armor, emblem, etc. It was perfect. Making only the emblems visible is isolating to the community. It’s more interactive to have the option to see other players armor and what not. I really hope they revamp lobbies to be more like Reach. They should also bring back proximity chat and the party up system.
Yeah party up system was the reason why I mainly got t play custom games, custom game browser would be good as well. If they bring the party leader back, then I don’t expect the custom game browser to come in launch but if they don’t bring back party leaders, then custom game browser needs to be in launch.
I think that there needs to be lots of game modes, maps and lots of stuff in day one, then keep going with updates to keep the game alive.

Not worthless, but a lot of people (myself included) like to show off their rank. And since you can’t leave the lobby once the dedicated server is started, the only way to back out is to dashboard or shut down the console completely so I don’t really see that being an issue. Even now 3 years after release Halo 5’s focused matchmaking is still very good at matching you with players of similar rank so most players wouldn’t have motivation to dashboard anyways.

We only see emblems, pre game lobby in H5 looked bad and it was more boring. Some maps had the same image, even though the maps are different.
