Alright, so I have made a connection.
Let me explain…In order for anyone to fully grasp what I am contemplating, they must rewatch the Halo E3 trailer for Xbox One (cloaked Master Chief).
Alright, at the end of the Halo 5 campaign, cortana is seen aboard a guardian, tracking the infinity. The infinity hits slip space, and escapes this encounter, not expressing where cortana was after that. Her words to the infinity may have clues to her intentions, rewatch for yourself. The legendary ending shows a halo ring being activated. Simultaneously, you hear Cortana’s hum as she is the assumed character responsible for this now.Alright, so in the desert like landscape seen in the halo Xbox trailer, he encounters a guardian. The guardian releases some sort of sonic blast wave if energy, removing the cloak of chief, revealing his cracked visor. Remember, Locke cracked his visor, so I take it that this is post Halo 5. Furthermore, I assume master chief to be on this halo ring that cortana revived, looking for her. I believe that the guardian he encounters is the guardian that transports her to the ring and she is probably in the control room, or something involving a cartographer.
I believe MC is alone in this scene because either blue team perished, or MC concluded that he wanted to venture alone. Who knows.
I believe that this trailer is indeed a flash forward and not a misleading advertisement that every believes it to be.I could be wrong, but I’m analyzing contextual clues to aid in my guess.Any thoughts?
