Seeing how much hate H5 campaign is getting, should 343i forget about the rest of the reclaimer saga and just reboot Halo from scratch? Should they give up on what is turning out to be a very lack lustre story and go back to the human/covenant war and the first discovery of a halo ring? I’d like to know what you think. I think if they continue with the story Halo 6 better be bloody amazing to recapture the excellent story covered in CE-3.
They aren’t going to reboot the story, that’d be ridiculous. I honestly thought from the title you meant reboot H5. I’d take a Halo 5 Anniversary I guess. Could be good.

Not reboot maybe change up the current story but that’s a lot of work so I doubt that’ll happen. Hopefully they hire a good writer how can some how make a decent halo story out of this mess.
Reboot would be great. But let’s be honest, that would be a mess. Only thing now would be to hire people to help steer it in the right direction, I think.

Because Halo’s story ended with Halo 3. Remember? “Finish the fight” wasn’t just there for lols.
I don’t worry about Halo’s story anymore because to me, Halo 3 is where it all ended, and anything after that is just non-canon. It’s how I cope with the terrible new story path 343 has created.

There has always been a small amount of people that hated a Halo campaign story, but never as much as the majority that hates Halo 5’s story.

The human/covenant war ended, you’re ignoring a lot of halos lore and history if you think halos story ended with three.
fyi: id take 343s cannon over Bungies any day. Both are inconsistent on a good story game by game but oh well.

Short answer is no, because 343 isn’t very dependable.

Fall of Reach (book) and Boot Camp would like a word with you.
Take a lesson from the “amazing Spider-Man” films over the old trilogy films. I feel those films aren’t as interesting as the original. Halo wouldn’t fit in with itself if it was rebooted.
Rebooting the series would be a hot mess for 343, and probably any other company in their position. They’ve lost half of their audience already, and it starting from scratch would only further hamper sales and divide the community.
