Halo 6 Level Idea

I’m pretty bored and thought of this after some neurological studies I’ve been in, which occur later in the game. I’ll probably try and tell this little, ugh I hate calling it this, fan fiction I’ve made up from 3rd person, but I may flip flop into 1st person from time to time. I hope you guys like it and I think its an interesting story that could realistically happen in Halo 6 if 343 is going the way we think they are going. This definitely shouldn’t be seen as the first level of Halo 6 but seen more like second or third. This also will have some flaws that I’ll name at the end so you can go through reading this unbiased. This is all based on the first 2 reclaimer trilogy games and mainly on 5, although I wish that weren’t the case. You will most likely see some references to Halo 4 that weren’t mentioned in H5G. Anyways, lets begin:

The Exposition:
It has been a month since the end of Halo 5. Sanghelios is fighting back against the now Cortana controlled Prometheans and the stationed Guardian. The Guardian will often EMP the planet when the Swords of Sanghelios and allies make large attacks, keeping them weak and on low morale. Chief now leads Blue Team and Osiris on missions they go on together, but they frequently split up to provide more man-power to separate locations. Halsey and Palmer normally reside in the SoS’s command center, while the Arbiter, Thel 'Vadam, leads his troops on missions different than the Spartan’s. Arbiter’s old hierarchy still stands in the SoS, but Cheif now commands the Spartan task force and any other troops when he can. Their current plan is to find a way into the Guardian to control it from there, free Sanghelios, and to start freeing other planets affected. After weeks of scouting and gaining supplies, they have come up with a plan for Blue Team and Osiris to take over the Guardian. They have also learned how to protect certain things from the EMP, using old Faraday tactics on important equipment, but everything was short in stock.

Information On The Guardians:
The Guardians have multiple attack functions - being a shock wave capable of leveling cities and destroying whole spaceships and an EMP blast that can render almost a whole planet’s electronics useless. The Guardian’s defense mechanisms are an energy blast from its wingtips and high powered shields that can even withstand a MAC Cannon. They can also travel through slips space for very long distances, and of course have many forerunner destinations logged in their systems from the early days. Guardians can hover and are at a height of 4,635 feet and can “fold” themselves up underground, in water, and in lava for concealment purposes. The Guardian’s were used by the forerunners to police entire solar systems to uphold the Mantle. Guardian’s are believed to have a hollow “head” as a control center, but it has not been proven. (For the purpose of this story they will have one). The Sangheli, and later Covenant, had studied the Guardian on Sanghelios and built Sunaion as a worship center for it, although they did not get much information out of their studies. (For the purpose of this article, again, we will say that the Covenant had discovered and logged the hollow head control center). Shortly after leaving Onyx, Dr. Halsey had discovered a signal being bounced around the galaxy, one of the signal’s sources had been linked to a violent seismic event on a human colony and the only remaining evidence was a sigil (of the Guardians). Halsey had archived this information and allowed ONI to know about it with the resurgence of the Guardian’s in 2558, leading to them hiding it from humanity. All of the information I got here is from here, it has some more info on them.

The Story:
The Coalition on Sanghelios had went quiet for a week after a large attack and scouting mission on Cortana’s forces and the Guardian itself. They then planned out their mission to retake Sanghelios.
Cutscene:
Chief and Blue Team walk into the command center of a hidden base (relate it to Crow’s Nest) and meet Osiris and the Arbiter. Arbiter starts to explain the plan once more before they put it in action. They had been quiet enough to where the Guardian wouldn’t pulse, but as soon as they started their attack it would begin to quell it. Arbiter explains the mission. “Master Chief, you will lead your team to a gravity lift center in Sunaion our stealth teams have been building over the last week, it should be enough to launch you at the Guardian. The Prometheans hold Sunaion, however. Once you engage, you will need to move quickly before the pulses and EMP’s begin and destroy the lifts. It seems the Guardian is able to focus the shock waves as well, Spartans, so Sunaion may go down with you if you fail. You are to launch at the Guardian and grab hold to its head, the eyes are seemingly made of glass, either way, you should be able to destroy them and go inside from there with this. He hands him a plasma grenade. All of you must get inside, we do not know what is in there.”
Master Chief: “Everyone, arm up, be ready to go in 10.” He walks off and the cutscene fades to black.
The team appear’s on a hill above and away from Sunaion scouting it out and they then hop onto a stealth phantom to get into the city. The scene skips to you landing on the far side of the city as to remain undetected. It now switches to actual gameplay.

I’ll post more later, I know there was a lot of set up and its not that exciting yet, but I’ll finish it soon. I’m tired and got some work to do. If you can, please refrain from posting unless its necessary, as I want my main posts to be close together since I cannot add on to this one much more.
