Halo 6 has probably been in Full development since Early 2017 with concepts/early development for the game starting in 2016. It will likely release as a launch title for the Xbox Two and it will also be on PC. I’m glad all Xbox exclusives will be on PC so I don’t have to buy a Xbox anymore, I can finally play my playstation 3 and playstation 4 when Xbox Two comes out since I neglect both those consoles in favor of Halo 5/Forza 7 on Xbox One X and PC gaming.

I always said since E3 it will be released in fall 2020 on pc, Xbox One family and the next Xbox family (aka Project Scarlett). 5 years to make the next Halo game great and the biggest system seller for the next Xbox with an aggressive bundle, it’s a win win scenario
They’ve already confirmed it will be on XB1, that doesn’t mean it can’t also be on the next gen xbox as well though.
Its going to be on Xbox One for sure. Unsure if its going to be 2019 or 2020 though.
None of this is actually confirmed and to save confusion and people taking it as fact (which can and will happen) I’m going to close this off. Infinite is being released on the Xbox One family of consoles, but the when has still to be determined. We’ll likely find that out next year.
