Given that there was no announcement regarding Halo at Microsoft’s E3 press conference this year (which, side note, I thought was largely underwhelming other than Ori and maybe Anthem), I’d imagine that Halo 6 won’t be released until 2019 at the earliest, and possibly even 2020. With that in mind, we’ve got the rest of this year and likely next year as well with Halo 5 as our go-to game still - think you’ll ever hit the crazy XP required for 152 as a result in advance of Halo 6? I’m a late 145 myself at the moment - so I definitely think it’s possible for me to eventually get there, as long as the community stays around for the most part.
Right now I’m SR149 with 1553747/6000000 XP to get to 150. So probably not. The jump from 151 to 152 is probably going to be a step to far.
I’m sure a lot of you guys will get there eventually. Just remember that getting to 150 is just under the halfway mark in terms of xp. 11m for 150-151 and 15M for 151-152
Seeing as we have a year+ to work on it I can now see it as something that is attainable. The big problem for me at least will arise when there is no work and no new content arriving for a stretch of time. It has been almost 6 months since the last real content update, as long as new gametypes and things are added every 3 months I will stay active. If I am sitting with the same maps and games for longer I am starting to play custom games more which do not add to my XP and SR progression. My goal is to make it to 150, we will see if I get any further.
H6 in 2019 is the best thing they could possibly do at this point…

If I keep playing everyday like I’m doing right now I’ll reach 152 in a billion years. So… no.
I just hit 145. I think I can make it, I’ll just have to grind warzone and WZFF since I have a few hundred xp boosts I haven’t used.
Yes, that is one of my goals in Halo to at least get to max level, did in H4 aimed in Reach didn’t get to it there but I’m trying here.

Nah. I say 2020. They need all the time they need. In my opinion, Halo 6 will be 343’s last time to prove theirself. They already splitted the community whether you agree with that or not.

50 million total from level 1-152. I know there is a breakdown of what it is by level somewhere, but I do not have a link for it available right now.
Damn at first i was like, well, we have a year plus… im currently at a low 144… hell yeah i can get it. But after reading some posts of people that are ranked higher than me (like 149 or 150) who are in all seriousness saying no… im going to say yes anyway. I like a challenge and this will be it. I love firefight anyway so … bring it.
At my current play rate, I’d reach 151 in about 5-6 more months so that would give me plenty of time to reach 152. The problem is I’ll most likely be playing other games if it’s released that late. The game is already stale and with no content for potentially 2 more years, the other games coming out are looking very tempting so I probably wouldn’t reach 152 if that was the case.

Development costs would be getting pretty high by 2019, let alone 2020… that’s another year of salaries paid, across the 343 team, and then some…

I’m a level 69,sooooo, probably not. I wanna get my halo 4 sr130, I’ve maxed out all the halos, other than halo 2,i got to a 39 in slayer but boosted to a 46,i could of went 50,wish I did.

My original goal was 150 but I’ll be playing past that. I don’t know that I’ll hit 152, but Halo is the only game I play much so it’s a possibility.

Seems like once you hit the high 140’s, your positive attitude about getting there goes away entirely haha… maybe that’s when realism sets in? I’d love to get there eventually, but someone above mentioned that 150 is just under the halfway mark, which is positively INSANE if that’s true.

I’m honestly glad it got delayed so I actually have a chance to hit it ( only being at 126). But it might be announced at gamescom later this year despite it being a main series title, so it might still release in 2018.
