Halo 6 Ideas

I got bored and decided to give some ideas for Halo 6 that I personally would like to see implemented.

Return To The Basics
Halo 3 is a prime example of how it changed a little drastically but still remained the same game we all knew and loved. Halo 6 should simply get rid of ground pounds and all unnecessary stuff that people criticize the game for. There is nothing wrong with adding additional features (I personally have no idea why people despise everyone having sprint its not that serious) but when you add things that completely change core game elements (like ordinance drops) that changes the game people know and love.

Remove REQ Packs
Armor should be unlocked by progression, not by pure luck. Remember during the Halo 3 days when you saw someone with a recon helmet and then you found out what you had to do to achieve that? That encouraged people to work for their armor and when they finally got it it meant something to them and was more than a permutation. In my opinion Halo Reach did customization the best, some armor was unlocked by simply playing the game and getting credits (daily challenges also helped with this) and others were by achievements. The thing is that currently in Halo 5 I don’t even care about the fact I have 5 legendary helmets because I did nothing to obtain them personally.

Return Playable Elites
The Elites are probably one of the most iconic species in the game (next to spartans/humans of course) so I personally don’t understand why we simply can’t play as them (even if its only in custom games that’s something). My idea for Halo 6 multiplayer is basically that Sangheli & Spartans fight each other in wargames and arenas to master their skills and learn from their opponents. When you first begin playing Halo 6 multiplayer you have an option to either fight for the Sangheli/Elites (and therefore in multiplayer you will be an elite and fight alongside other elites in some game modes) or you can fight for the Spartans/Humans (vise versa). Like for instance you wouldn’t fight each other in infection mode but you would fight alongside each other (Or Griff Ball). Additionally, each side has their own leader boards and the top 50 or so get some sort of special reward for obtaining that position, this would encourage competition among each faction. You also wouldn’t be bound to a specific faction. Lets say that you completed all the Sangheli Ranks (Example: Max Rank being Imperial Admiral or Councilor) you could start a Spartan Career and begin fighting on that side or simply start it whenever you want to.

AI In Forge
This has always been requested for a while by Bungie and 343 but it’s something that should be implemented in Forge. You could choose how difficult the AI is, wheat weapons they spawn with, and how many spawn (up to maybe 30 max at a time). The AI included would be standard covenant, prometheans, and maybe possibly flood (this could be used to create some sort of flood survival mode like in Cod Zombies).

Alright, lemme see if I can reply to this without getting someone triggered.

Return To the Basics
I agree. Keep central elements in first, then build off. I have a personal gripe with Halo 3 being used as an example just because I didn’t like Halo 3 all that much, but that’s my opinion. As for elements that change core gameplay, I can’t offer too much insight on this. Whether they’re there or not is up to the devs.

Remove REQ Packs
I disagree that REQ packs should be removed entirely, however I do agree that they need to be changed so that it isn’t heavily reliant on RNG. Favyn’s video on this proposes another approach on the REQ system, and it is an approach I like.

Playable Elites
I definitely agree that Playable Elites is a core feature that should come back. If you got anything to add about playable Elites, put it here. Otherwise, you’re gonna end up like this guy. That has kinda prevented me from talking about an idea i had for merging Playable Elites and Warzone, but alas, I am but a minor voice and cannot fight it.

AI in ForgeWith Forge growing evermore in Halo 5, I can already see this as a possibility in Halo 6 and future Halos, should they decide to revive it. With Halo 5’s scripting, I believe it would allow players to perhaps customize their own missions and settings, which would allow for even more creativity for Machinima producers, should any interest in Halo from Machinima be renewed.

Hopefully I didn’t offend someone.

343 needs to add split screen. I was so exited to play halo 5 with my bro but I wasn’t a split screen thing. Halo 6 should also have a better REQ sistem where many you could buy Pisces of armor with points instead of pure luck.

This thread is pretty old! I would recommend starting a new one to avoid getting a warning about reviving a thread  Looking forward to seeing you on the forums!
