Halo 6 Has Potential

While Halo 5 most definitely has lots of downsides and was a let down, Halo 6 still has insane potential. 343i may have not had enough time with Halo 5 or they ended up too busy focusing on other things (Warzone, Reqs, Marketing, etc…), I personally feel like their hearts were in the right place (for the most part). No matter how many DLC’s and updates 343 dishes out (of course we’ll still play it and enjoy the dlc/updates throughout the year), I think we can all agree Halo 5 is a lost cause, so lets move on.

Halo 6 Story/Marketing

Halo 5 story had way to many characters, so much so that none of them really stayed up in the spotlight long enough for us to connect with them, making most interactions feel really dull and out of place, its like making 8 new friends at once rather 1 or 2. Halo 6 needs less characters for us to really connect. Halo 6 will also be the last title of the second trilogy, I personally think the story needs to be wrapped up nicely and finished because Master Chief has been with us for too long. You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Halo 5’s marketing was a complete lie, none of the trailers/commercials I saw held any relevance to the game, Make CGI/live action trailers based on the actual halo 6 script and setting.

Halo 6 Warzone
Warzone is a ton of fricking fun, but its broken. Spawning in with a precious req only to get killed in mere seconds is degrading, especially if you’ve bought the reqs with real money, add some sort of invincibility for the first couple seconds when you spawn. Let us build AI controlled defensive turrets on bases using req points to defend our team and base. The status of all bases (weather they’re ours or not or being captured) should be visible at all times. Being in a fire team should let you see all of the members that are in that fire team at all times even if they are across the map, we should also have the ability to spawn closer to them (like battlefield) its takes minutes just to get in a warthog with a buddy. Compasses are so important for orientation and knowing where each base is without actually memorizing the is the base is south or north etc… The points on the scoreboard make absolutely no sense to me, the points have to be distributed the same way your overall team score is so we know who is contributing and how much they’re contributing. Warzone assault needs fixed levels rather than letting pro people get a OP vehicle or weapon on the second stage of defense or attacking. Also it needs its own personal maps. Loadout weapons have to easier to pick and rather than leaving them as mess for us to clean through.

Halo 6 Arena
Halo 6 needs a much wider variety of playlists and game modes to satisfy every different player and keep things fresh, also it needs more maps, also to keep things fresh. While the new (new because its really different from before) infection mode is really fun, I got bored fairly fast because there is only a few maps to play on. The extensive use of player created maps feels like 343 is relying on us to make halo great (also seems really lazy), not that I dont like these maps but they definitely look no where as good as official maps with the limiting forge visuals, anyone notice big team battle not having any official maps? And add a classic playlist with all the armor abilities turned off including smart link, maybe even set up an entirely different controller option

Halo 6 Customization
Halo 5 has way to many armor sets, that number should be decreased, and instead allow us customize more by combining armor parts together like in Halo reach. Armors sets and pieces need to be earned through completion of challenges(the classic playlist can have its own challenges and unlockables) and maybe even participating in limited time events to actually add value to certain armors, It isnt really a problem if some of the more simple and common armors are unlocked via req packs, but majority should come from challenges. Emblems should mostly be unlocked right off the bat with a few cooler ones (like iconic or animated) set aside for challenges, that way they dont clog up the the req packs. Also emblems should be customizable, letting us change foreground and background like in all previous Halos, I’ve come across players one too many times with the same emblem, why? because you cant customize them other than changing the color.

Halo 6 Visuals
Halo 5 looks clean, way too clean, makes everything look like plastic and like a fake reality. we need to go back to the dark, gritty, dirty and battle scared environments/details, it would only make the game look beautiful, appealing and wont burn someones eyes out.

Halo 6 Elites
Just bring them back for multiplayer, and let us customize them more than Halo 3. We’ll just pretend someone modded the Wargames simulation on infinity and added playable elites for fun.

Halo 6 Dual Wielding
Bring back dual wielding, penalties from dual wielding can be inability to use smart link, reduced accuracy and much more recoil kick when firing both weapons at the same time. Also to spice things up, add dual sword wielding, with reduced lunge range and 200% more badass

Halo 6 File Share
This is what made Halo so fun to me and many people overall, don’t make us add someone and look through their profile (or go on halo waypoint) to just play a game, that is inconvenient and messed up, dont make us put up with that in Halo 6.

Halo Channel App On XB1
This app is so hard to navigate and absolutely not user friendly, i just end up quiting it right away because i dont even know what im clicking half the time. What happend to the amazing Halo Waypoint app on xbox 360? it was so beautiful and felt so lore friendly and really user friendly.

I know that I’ve mostly talked about Halo 5, but thats because I really believe that with a bunch of major additions/changes 343i can make a new and amazing game called Halo 6.

343 likes to put their own spin on things, which I personally like.

How about Smart Scope use while in vehicles like mongoose and warthog, additionally, add a first person option for said vehicles. I want to snipe someone from a mongoose in motion?

Playable Elites- with the rise of Prometheans and the disabling of many of the UNSC’s AI, HighCOM has decided that joint training missions with Sangheili would be benifical for both sides.

The Swords of Sanghelios have contributed their exceptional shield technology and plasma weaponry to create vehicles like the Hannibal Scorpion and Sword Needler Warthog. Between the two sides there has been weapon trading and customization as well, resulting in the Hybrid weapon variants.

Also bring Elites back as playable, or playable/customable Prometheans. That would be pretty cool
