After watching E3 and seeing that Xbox One X is going to be in the Xbox One family, I’m wondering if that means Halo 6 will be playable on Xbox One. If so, will the Xbox One hold the game back? Like, are they going to try to make the game 60fps and support split screen? Cause if I remember right, they said they had to sacrifice split screen for 60fps in Halo 5.

Yes, the next Halo game will be able to be played on the regular Xbox One. the Xbox One X is the same console, not a “next gen” step. Think of it like the Xbox 360 Elite vs the Xbox 360 Arcade.
