Probably an unpopular opinion but I feel like i’m the only person who isn’t really digging the beta. To me it doesn’t look like halo, sound like halo, or play like halo. I’m really looking forward to the campaign but MP just feels off to me. Idk, maybe it’s just because it’s only a beta, but the final product is just over two months away. Don’t get me wrong, it’s Halo and I’m gonna finish the fight. I just wish the fight more familiar than this.
i know what you mean however if you look at how many people still play halo not alot, last time i checked halo across all games was struggling ro hit anywhere between 100k to 500k (EDIT) i think on steam it was like 10k average a day if that… im a xbox player
What don’t you like about the sound Ghost of Rookie? There’s something in particular I too don’t care for regarding Infinite’s soundscape, that’s why I ask.
You’re not alone on this. My feeling is that this game takes so much effort (on controller) compared to the classic Halos. The pacing of the BR feels ok, at least. There’s a long list of things people are going to have problems with.
The funny part, I’m finding myself missing parts of Halo 3 which I hated with a passion, lmao

The weapons sound waaaay different, which I knew they usually do game to game. The music is forgettable. The voices sound lame. All just my opinion. It doesnt necessarily sound bad, in fact i rather like the beefy sound of the BR and AR. It just doesn’t sound like Halo to me
I don’t even know what this means anymore.

No one does. It’s nonsense.

the biggest issue with the sound direction is that UNSC weapons sound too similar to eachother. they lost their unique audio profile and all blend together, making it difficult to know what you’re being shot with. combine that with the fast TTK and smaller radar and you get a very chaotic halo game.

I’m not sure it’s nonsense. The game plays pretty darn good, but a lot of people feel like it still has problems. TTK, weapon balance, radar issues, and other things.
Every time a Halo game comes out tons of players are very vocal about not liking things in the game that deviate too much from the classic Halo formula. And every time 343 continues to march to the beat of their own drum, and each successive game is more poorly received than the one that came before it.

I feel like I’m playing the new battlefield 2142 beta
The ar kills so quick. The colors are more washed out. Idk
Yeah man inget ya it dosent feel like halo npre is it an enjoyable game anyway just in the middle of the road itl crach and burn like h4
I enjoy it a lot. I absolutely love the music and looks of this game but the combat feels… off.
