Possibly. 343 did say that Halo Wars 2’s story would tie into Halo Infinite.
I don’t think he’ll meet up with the Spirit of Fire or anyone in its crew aside from maybe Professor Anders (given her status at the end of Halo Wars 2).

I mean if so I don’t believe that spartan was Chief in the trailer. My theory is its Spartan Jerome with an updated MJNOLIR armor.

Given they said the game is focused on Chief, I doubt it’s Jerome.
I really don’t care about blue team or fireteam Osiris or anybody else when it comes to a main halo game. I want them to explore the main character and add in a couple interesting side characters like Johnson or the Arbiter.

A Halo Wars 2 and Halo Infinite crossover would actually be pretty nice.
I do hope Blue Team comes back in some way because blue team plays a big part in the older books and 343 did an awful job of using them in Halo 5 Guardian’s. Fireteam Osiris has to be mentioned too in some capacity because it would be very lazy to not explain what happened to everyone.

Well what happens to Buck is mentioned in Bad Blood (nothing bad dont worry), so thats one out of the way.
Really though I’d like to see some more of the expanded lore characters. Veta and the Ferrets would be AMAZING. Maybe Admiral Cole.

I’m more curious on the returning Villains, its the villain that makes a game great just like a film. I say all factions are coming to the halo infinite so that in a twist, the flood would break out and convert everyone.

I don’t know if breaking the fourth wall is the right term, but these characters keep appearing in Halo games despite the fact they should have died back in Halo: Combat Evolved.
