Hello Waypoint,
After a week of playing Halo 5 and doing some research on the forums, I’ve noticed there aren’t many weapon skins for loadout guns. If you’ve taken a look at the bottom section of the Customization Unlocks category (Where weapon skins are located), you’ll notice how there are only around six to eight skins for each weapon. (I have a feeling we’ll probably be getting more skins in DLC’s and whatnot.)
Anyways, I was wondering your opinions on the amount and originality of the skins we currently have. Do you think 343 gave us enough skins, or did they not give us enough?

I really liked the steampunk skins we had back in Halo 4, would like to see them come back.
I think theres a good amount of skins. Remember we don’t want a ton of unnecessary stuff in the req system. As it is its already going to take FOREVER to unlock everything we already have. 343i do not oversaturate the req system with bull -Yoink-!

I liked the Steampunk skins too. They were my favorite, along with the AR skin that had the shark face on the sides.
I think there’s enough for now.
I also think you’re right that we’ll get more in future updates/DLC

I doubt having more of simple things like weapon skins would be considered over-saturation. I hope they make skins easier to attain at least, so far I’ve only gotten two.
I think there are enough for now. I mean I’m still unlocking stuff and with the REQ system they can easily add new skins/armor/helmets/etc. down the road.
For now there is plenty with how the REQ packs are giving mostly weapon certifications and emblems, weapons skins are very rare to come across. However if they fix the contents of the packs people will soon collect obtain a lot more skins.

Agreed. If 343 doesn’t add in new skins anytime soon, the existing ones should at least be easier to get.
