I used to sometimes get gold packs in a single (usually after the warzone was done) but after I reached level 50, it stopped and I just kept getting trash items, like emblems/armor/helmets I do not like or want, and it’s kinda sad because I do good at warzones and I try my best (even if I die a ton of times), and just getting to the 5th place, or 3rd place gives me nothing but promotional packs full of garbage when I level up, now i’m level 79 almost 80 and I keep getting trash I do not want. it makes me feel like this game is cheating me in a way like I’m not doing good enough, and to add insult to injury, my friend’s the same level and they’re getting visors/helmets/armor that are cool and stuff continuously, while I get awful items as soon as I get the REQ’s to buy a gold pack, now not everything is bad, at least I get guns and cool warthogs and stuff but then there are things that don’t even look good. maybe I’m too picky but I find it sad, because if all and ANY of the halo 5’s games inside of it want you to be a part of the game specially for warzones or in general any game that involves being a part of the game, I’ve played this game for a year and I had nothing but good items until I became level 50, now it’s just completely awful. plus getting a gold pack manually gives me more junk that I don’t want. I get legendary weapons/vehicles (sometimes) but that’s it, because of this whole thing it’s getting tiring and it makes me want to quit, I might sound like a whining child but this is getting pointless, what’s the point of playing to win rewards, if all it’s gonna do for you, is give you emblems you don’t want, or ugly helmets/armors, you don’t want either?, it’s disappointing.
if anyone else has seen this pattern let me know, I’d like to hear what you all have to say.
If you’re going for all of the permanent unlocks, you’ll have all of the permanent unlocks (armors, helmets, visors, loadout weapons, etc.) by rank ~130 or ~140
For me I didn’t start getting good stuff until past lvl 100. But that’s because I went straight to getting gold packs. The most efficient way to get good reqs quickly imo is to go for silver packs until you get req points instead of permanents.

Likewise however, I made the fatal mistake of buying gold packs up until level 50.
That’s because gold packs will give you items from bronze and silver REQ’s if you didn’t complete them yet. Get those items out of the way first so you don’t get them in your gold packs.
