Halo 5's multiplayer is the best!

Now that BTB has an extra 5 maps to play from (including Valhalla and Sandtrap) this has got to be the best multiplayer I’ve ever experienced. Cheers lads!

35 minutes and no comments… thats exactly how people feel about this multiplayer. Lol

No, actually. They’re all too busy playing to comment.

Or that there have been soooo many posts like this, that people don’t comment. Heck… I’m only commenting to explain the “no comment”…

I’m gonna have to argue, you can’t play the multiplayer in this game longer than 6 minutes without your hands sweating a waterfall or throwing your head into a ceiling fan.

Most fun ive had in a multiplayer for sure.

With the edition of the new maps BTB is so much fun to play now.

Agreed!

Boom… Stuck! haha

As a relatively new Halo player, I would’ve considered this the best Halo multiplayer(only played Reach and MCC) but there are a lot of little things that negatively impact the experience for me.
Specifically,

  1. Endless grind for req packs, HOWEVER its becoming more bearable as I get closer to finishing off silver packs.
  2. Monotony of Warzone and the fact that has too few/subpar maps
  3. Spartan charge coupled with the near useless radar in Arena makes it hard to have fun in competitive arena
  4. Sprint. I was originally neutral about it but after hearing both sides, I have come to agree with the anti-sprinters and feel that it is not good for Halo
  5. Lack of game modes, no explanation here
  6. Constant stat-tracking/significant lack of truly social playlists.
  7. Terrible armor customization and art style in my opinion. This is the only aspect I truly and unequivocally despise about Halo 5. The power ranger feel of the Spartans with their ridiculous and plastic looking armor, the utter lack of blood in multiplayer, and the ugly look of the elites versus their sleek and lethal/dangerous looking design in reach all contribute to one of the worst Halo experiences to date in terms of art style. 343i should learn from Reach in this area, a game I consider to be the peak of armor customization, enemy design, and military aesthetic.
Overall, I do like Halo 5 and it is far better than the Halo 4 I played in MCC, almost on par with the originals in terms of core gameplay, but I still feel overall, its not as good as them because of the flaws I listed above but 343i could definitely create the best Halo experience in Halo 6 if they address said flaws in my opinion.
